Joining armor parts in niffscope - Help needed

Armor mods look incredible but some of them have serious clipping issues when mixed with vanilla armors.

Some mods have solved that problem including in the curiass item the gauntless and boots. That way the armor can be included in the leveled lists and random npcs will use that armor without clipping issues.

Is it possible to add the gauntless model to a curiass model with niffscope?

Can somebody post a small tutorial for it?

Thanks and sorry for my english.

I'm not really sure if you can, but you'll have to edit string txt and stuff. There's some tutorial on the web that you can easily find.

The only problem is to be able to copy/paste a branch, sometimes even with the same root, it doesn't work. No matter how hard you try. That's why other programs are needed.

But I know very little about them.

Where is the tutorial to join two niff models in one?

I'm converting weapons with niffscope and it's really easy to do it, never had a problem with copy/paste a branch.

I tried to join two niff models in niffscope but it didn't work, i think this could be related to the skeletons of the curiass and the gauntletss (maybe they share the same skeleton parts)

You should try to get your hands on 3Ds Max, it will make it very easy to join parts of individual armours. That is of course, if you can get access to 3ds max, otherwise blender is a nice free alternative.
