MatthewWalrus
When I upload my files do I use the whole BSA and my ESP or what? I looked at the guide but I'm kind of worried that I did it wrong again. Link to comment
RitualClarity
If you are talking about a mod you have been working on. You zip it up and then upload the entire thing. You then would upload zipped esp, BSA, or even folders if you need to later for patches or frequent updates so your users won't have to download the entire mod (save bandwidth on the site as well) Link to comment
MatthewWalrus
Thank you so much. So I did it right? I uploaded the BSA and ESP in a zipped folder. Awesome! Link to comment
RitualClarity
Yes, It is convenient for people to download in that form. However, you can upload any part of the mod later if you needed to or have a reason to upload them differently. Just be sure to give clear instructions (as simply as possible) for your users. There are many here that English isn't their first language. Keeping it simple makes it easier for translator programs to give them the assistance they need to get the correct flies and follow your instructions. Link to comment
MatthewWalrus
I didn't know that. I will update my mod post. Thank you again. Link to comment
RitualClarity
I just checked out your post / download. It looks good for a first start. You will quickly catch on Just relax and enjoy the experience. People will chime in on things they think on about the mod and what you are doing... the key is not letting it get you turned around and lost, frustrated etc. Link to comment
