Hello everyone.

I would like to know if having the gray face bug when you reload any saves after going back to the main menu is a common problem in Skyrim, or if it is related to any mods in particular. The first load (when I start Skyrim) on my save don't have this issue, it only happens when I reload a save after going back to the main menu. As for mods regarding NPCs, I only have two or three NPC replacer which replaces just one wished, but I don't have any huge NPCs overhaul like Bijin's mods for instance.

I will appreciate any help or anyone who witness the same problem.

Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

Grey faces, if they aren't permenant, are usually a failure to load correctly issue, usually cause by a lack of memory issue. Go into your enblocal.ini and give Boris some more VRAM.

Hi.

Thank you for your answer. Regarding my enblocal.ini and what you've written, I have the following lines on this file:

ReservedMemorySizeMb=64
VideoMemorySizeMb=12162

I have an 8gb graphic card (1070 laptop) and the lack of memory issue would be weird since I've given a huge amount of VRAM. I've also 8gb of RAM. But you could also be right since sometimes I've got some performance drop until restart (especially on the perk menu when the fps can drop to 30).

Thank again for your reply!

oh. well that should be tons of memory. I am not sure. I never return to the main menu. You could try to purge the vram when it happens (f4 by default) and then reload mb .... ? mb someone else has an idea.

I've tried to purge the VRAM but it seems to have no impact on this problem. Looks like tis not related to my memory. It is not a really huge problem since I still can play, but that can be really annoying. Anyway I really appreciate the time you took to help me and like you said I hope someone got a fix!
