Problem with 2048x2048 full package tools

When I try to install it, I have this :

How to fix it please ?

First off if you are using Win7 or Vista you should not have oblivion installed inside your program files directory as you will be fighting UAC and permissions forever!

 

Second, where did you get this 2048x2048 texture pack from?

Its on the Nexus Greg. The reason you are having this issue is because you have installed the game in Program Files and most likely have Read-Only enabled.

Win7 is like over 9000 times better at this than vista. I have no issues with these things being installed to PF, and no, I don't login as an admin..

Are you asking because it seems like overkill? That's why I'd be asking. To see the benefit, wouldn't one need a monitor with at least a matching resolution or have the texture on something that is panned, like a really big object that you have to pan to see or something that you can zoom way in on? Otherwise, the texture would always be down-scaled, right? And down-scaling images can look awful, as well hard on your system. Bigger is not always better. Am I wrong about this???
