VATS - Dodge/ combat evade

This is just an idea but I feel like there needs to be a combat dodge or VATS - dodge mod that enables the player to fall back to avoid getting hit or quickly dive to the left or right to find cove and keep their head down like in the game HELLDIVERS or warframe. Once the player is on the ground with their they should stay prone until the crouch key is pressed to return to standing.

 

Anyway, is there anyone that would agree that a mod like this should exist? Thoughts? Ideas?
