indixavior17 Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I'm a little confused about the different skin mods out there. can anyone help clear this up for me? Like what are skin overlays, what exactly do mods like better body do? which skins have nude models like nipples, etc.
wongfoo2003 Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I think this is the question for Sims 4 because BetterBody is a feature that is offered here in LoversLab for that game. It is a bit difficult to answer that question correct. Because normally skins are the coloured texture of the body which make the racial diffrenties. They show if the person is Europian, Asian, African or a mixed skintyp. (This is only mend for the skintyp without any ranking or racial voting). Or if they are Alien, Vampires or another occult creature. The overlays should add facial or body features as chinclefts, marks, wrinkles or bellybuttons, nipples, abs, bodyhair. But sometimes even modders get confused and name skins as overlays. Mods as BetterBody, LunarEclipes or other normaly add more realistic parts to the EA-bodys. They make the male look like men and the woman bodies more rounded. Or easy said they add pricks or boobs. I'm not able to answer the last question because their are so many diffrent skins. You have to look for yourself which one fills your need or fits best with some mods. Most modders add links to the best skins for their mod.

indixavior17 Posted December 9, 2017 Author Posted December 9, 2017 Yes, sorry I didnt make it more clearer. This was meant for sims 4. Ok, I think I've gotten the gist of it. I've recently downloaded wild guys female detail mod which added nipples bellybutton, etc. along with Better Body. I've also downloaded this skin from thesimsresource and am wondering if it will conflict with my other mods that I have like wild guys female details or better body. Also, what skin, body replacer, skin tone mods do you guys use? I wanna know good mod combinations.
Sims4menow Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Ialso use RemusSirion's skins, they will not conflict, it is an option. The RS skins are gorgeous but they come at a price, you won't be able to use most of the default Tattoos and you may need to modify CC tattoos, RemusSirion has a blurb about it on his blog here: http://remussims.tumblr.com/day/2017/04/17/ You will also not be able to use Wild Guy's tan lines (a real shame) nor his nipples but, RS's are really good anyway. You will be able to use his female pubic hair and that's really cool. You'll definately need Better Body for the nipple mesh and naked CAS (or maybe that's WW, not certain). Cheers
