How do I delete EVERY TRACE of NMM, ALL mod files + Skyrim?

Ever since an inept tech support agent deleted all of my apps by "restoring" Windows, my reinstalled NMM, Skyrim and mods have never quite worked correctly-- they seem to be born with a kind of cancer.  I can't isolate a specific cause-- mods that worked together perfectly well before the deletion event were unchanged; yet, suddenly, as my games progressed, cities became off-limits, causing CTD's if I tried to enter them, or caused all saves to be corrupt after entering that city.  Multiple paths on the maps became similarly off-limits.  I tried deleting more and more mods until I had the barest bones of Sexlab, its requirements, and one or another Sexlab mod, and the results were always the same: the game would appear normal up to a point, after which cities and paths began causing CTD's or, in one instance, corrupting all saves upon reaching the city gates.  Cities I entered early in the game would work; but, as the game progressed and became "sicker," cities, apparently at random, would cease to "work."

I'm on the verge of giving up on Skyrim altogether in complete exasperation; but, as a last resort, I'd like to try scrubbing out every last trace of the game, its mods and NMM, then reinstalling from scratch-- perhaps, the problem lies with the way everything was reinstalled over an improperly uninstalled game, NMM + mods.   I know how to locate the basic directories that I must delete after I uninstall Skyrim on Steam [i.e., (C:) > Games > Steam, and (C:) > Steam > Steamapps > common > Skyrim + Skyrim Mods]; but, I know from experience that it's not so simple for me to find every last vestige of some files.  After I've believed that I've wiped out everything, I'll reinstall and find that there is a record, somewhere, of my previous installation.

I apologize if this seems like a stupid question; but, I'm at my wit's end.  These crashes are so hard to attach to any source that no one has been able to help, even with my Papyrus logs; and my last game, which ended with corrupted saves whenever I merely stood at the gates of Solitude or entered it, didn't even generate a crash report.  All that would happen would be that all saves would be completely green screens.  Moreover, if I entered Solitude, concluded my business and exited, then tried to save outside of Solitude, even the subsequent saves outside of Solitude would be corrupt.

I hope someone can advise me.  Otherwise, I'll just have to give up, at last, and sadly walk away from Skyrim.  I'm utterly out of my own ideas.

Sounds a bit like my own problem with Skyrim.

What fixed it for me, and hopefully for you, was to clear the original Bethesda Masterfiles with TES5Edit. Bethesda did't clear on there own, so the ar lot of records left, that shpulöd be deletet, or deleted references, that should be undeleated. Since I clieared up my Bethesda Masterfiles I had no Problems further.

The process of cleaning is very well explained on youtube from Gopher. Very easy, had ypu ever done that?

Uninstall mods then go to the skyrim folder wipe out the whole folder. Go to steam and uninstall it there. Hit the start key on the keyboard to bring up the start menu and type in nexus mod manager in the search bar and wait and it should bring up everything on your computer right click one of the lines that appears and select go to file location or open file location and delete everything out if it's for NMM. Might have to find where the folder is if you have to go to file location so that you can delete that folder as well.

@myuhinny:

Plainly, it's been a while since I was able to even attempt to get back to this (lots of medical problems-- *sigh*).  Before seeing your post, I tried deleting things on my own and, as it turns out, I almost got it right.  What I didn't do, since it didn't seem necessary to me at the time, was uninstall each, individual mod before deleting everything.  Is that going to be a big problem?  I have no way of un-ringing that bell at this point, so, I truly hope not.  ?
