Just add them in yourself and post it here like I have. It's easy for other users to throw it in their own game and whenever Eismann updates this mod, he sometimes update the file with mine.

Hey folks, I tried installing this mod (official 1.9 version and 2.0 as well as 2.1 from the forum).

On some level it was successful, as the new skills do appear, however while trying to manage some heroes like the houndmaster or jester my game crashes.

This issue dissapears when deactivating this mod, so they should be linked. Anyone an idea, what might causing this?

Do you have any other mods installed? I've been playing 1.9 recently and haven't noticed any issues.

I confirm, game crashes when you right click Houndmaster if DD 2.1 enabled.

Hmm sounds like the new versions accidentally used the code from my old .json file again. Houndmaster and Jester both used to use a code that I borrowed from the Werewolf class. So without that mod installed, it will crash. I've already gave the fixed file to Eismann to include in Darkest Desire so I don't know what happened.

 

The easiest fix would be to just install the Werewolf class mod.

So... I kinda added about 130~140 lines of dialogue in "darkestdesire_english.string_table" - but they do not seem to be working on my game, should i edit another file instead? Or maybe use another program to make the alterations?

That does not seem to be the cause.

 

I get the same crashes and I have Werewolf installed.

The male_houndmaster_rape code I am looking at is different from the one I found in cataphracts files too, which DOES contain the ww_bleed stuff etc.

 

Commenting/ripping out "male_houndmaster_rape"part in 999999_darkestdesire\raid\camping\default.camping_skills. json fixes the crashing quick & dirty.

 

Newb question: where the hell can I find DDs debug logs?

The errors in the in-game console are going a bit too fast. Getting something about "missing camping skill icons", and maybe that is the CtD cause.

New supported class: Succubus, Monk, Exorcist, Watcher, Drowner and JoanofArc (Fate series class Ruler).

I want post this mod in nexus so i hope you all agree with it.

So how do you go about replacing the one affected camping skills with another one from this mod? Say if i wanted to add Rough sex to the Falconer, but not replace the camping skills from this mod, how would i go about that?

So when I have this up and running I crash when trying to right click the Jester. Just the Jester. This is also my only mod other than skins. Any ideas?

Aye. Just checked it a few more times to make sure and it's definitely just the Jester.

Small update. Tried it on a fresh install in case hero skins were somehow borking things up. Right clicking on the Jester still crashes the game.

Do skins come packed with this mod, or do we download those separately? If they do come with the mod, I think I installed wrong? I have the 999999_darkestdesire folder inside the mods folder. It shows up ingame, but all the skins are still vanilla.
