Face options:  Not a "glitch".  NIOverride.ini (added by either Racemenu or NIOverride) has face tats disabled by default.  This is due to an old bug with face overlays (not the warpaints, just face overlays) where if the pc or an npc with face overlays is decapitated, the game ctds.  Never been solved.  You have to enable the face tats in the ini.  If you are using ModOrganizer, you can double click RaceMenu (or NIOverride) in the left pane to edit the ini through MOs interface.  If using NMM or manually adding mods, you have to find it yourself.  When you find it, set "bEnableFaceOverlays" equal to 1.

The other things you mention I haven't seen before.
