memory crashes despite having that fixed previously

I've been playing my rather heavily modded Skyrim for a while now with little problems, once the memory issues got sorted out the first time.  Recently I started experiencing inexplicable frame drops making the game unplayable, as well as infinite stretching issues with HDT occasionally.  I thought maybe it was due to physics conflicts since I had AIO animated pussy, SMP, and CHHDTP all installed with the havok object disabled.  I thought I had done all I needed to to convert to SMP, but could have easily been wrong.  So, I tried tweaking some specific settings in the hdt ini files per someone's post hoping that would help; and I also disabled AIO and CHHDTP in NMM after the crashes started and still nothing.

Since then, almost every time I try to fast travel anywhere, I get memory allocation crashes.  I even got one in the Dwemer Storage Cube without trying to travel (which has never happened before.)  I thought I'd fixed that months ago.  I have CrashFixes, and ENB that should be fixing this still.

I don't understand.  Please help?  I can provide any info necessary.

It could be many things causing this.

- Check to make sure all your custom npcs have XPMSE skeleton.. or manually transfer the skeletons to their custom folders (making sure to backup the original)

- Make sure you have the skse preloader to make your crash fixes work properly.

- make sure you do not have conflicting terrain issues  like two mods adding a building in the same place...

- Reduce your rendering range for grass, objects, and maybe actors

- put all the periodic checks for your mcm options to their max settings for mods that have these.

- check your bashed patch leveled lists for problems that may occur when attempting to spawn a random encounter.

- enable your debug logs and check for papyrus issues that may cause some spammy errors

- on that note, make sure all your debug logs are disabled during normal gameplay to prevent unnecessary script load.

- post your load order so others may identify problematical mods.

- post your papyrus log text file so that others can help look for problematical error messages.

- check your scripts for latency.. script lag can cause misfires.

-  ...

- declare bankruptcy

The first thing you need to do is monitor your system memory usage, either  through windows resource monitor or a more detailed tool.  A quick google search should find you something that will do the job.

A good tool will tell where all your memory is going, so that you can determine if is a game asset eating your memory or something external eating it and limiting what the game can use. For example, I love Firefox because of all the security plugins, but it's had memory leak issues that get worse with every new release.

Within Skyrim itself, there are a several possibilities. This link is to a similar issue posted at the Nexus.  Post #4 has a pretty detailed troubleshooting guide
