Corsayr Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 I'm trying to set up a new profile in MO for a test environment on some mods. All is going well and initial testing seemed stable so I restarted to fix a texture issue. Now after the restart I can't seem to assign any hotkeys on any mods. The "press button to assign" box comes up and when I press a key it disappears so it is registering a key press, but the hot key is not being assigned. Further weirdness after doing that all MCM menus become locked till I back out of MCM to game and go back in to MCM again. Has anyone heard of anything like this? **********************With no obvious solution I have abandoned this problem******************************
Lodakai Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Never had it happen but a few things you can check unless someone comes up with a better answer... - check for errant files in your override directory.. - try keeping different folders for SKSE outputs such as json files for each profile - look through your load order and see if anything is overriding something it shouldn't (look through all the folders with a red minus and check the conflicts.. make sure you agree with the conflicts)
Corsayr Posted November 15, 2017 Author Posted November 15, 2017 Thanks Lodakai I dug around a bit and found nothing that stuck out. I do keep my overwrites segregated best I can; I have dump folders for Outfits (output from bodyslide), Animations (Output from FNIS), and a General one that is mostly .json files created from in game activity / MCM setups. Eventually I gave up and just restarted again (was easy cuz I was just doing mod set up after a clean restart anyway)
