Skin texture resaving with major decrease in quality

Hey guys, I've been on a search for quality skin textures recently and as most of you know, some of them don't come with vagina textures and need to edited manually in Photoshop. Sadly most of the textures I like (Women of Skyrim, Pride of Valhalla etc.) don't come with vagina textures and are in compressed format which makes them lose quality if resaved. So here I am asking if there's anyway to add the vag textures and then resave it without losing the quality. Many thanks.

Photoshop and DDS files are not the best combination.

Not much experience, but other tools and programs to hande DDS are usually better, especially with compression and newer formats.

I have heard GIMP is good.

 

Maybe save as 8.8.8 uncompressed and use the Compressonator tool?

GIMP and the  GIMP dds plugin are fantastic.  I routinely make edits to textures and lose no quality whatsoever.  For Skyrim files, I'm re-saving out as BC3/DXT5 without issues.

 

That being said, both the Demoniac(up to 8k) and Leyenda Skin(4k) textures are highly quality, include a lot of options and have vagina textures included.
