She just is a skeleton male, and no head mesh. That's it.

Yeah I'm fairly sure she has a head... it just doesn't have a mesh or a texture over it.  Unlike the actual headless Thralls, 2B does have a healthbar for her head.

@ffhenzen Could be a problem with my animation. I'm not sure if its the same, but I had a similar problem with a crawling animation I did.

 

When the desert wind blows, the character throws one hand arkwardly to cover their face. I'm not sure how to disable that in FCS, if it is that...

I think that's a reaction to the Dust Storms.  You can prevent that face-shielding animation by having the character wear equipment that provides immunity/protection from Dust Storms, like Ashland Goggles.

 

2B is a Skeleton and her race has an innate 100% immunity to Dust Storms.  So she isn't reacting to the wind.

Anyone ever get/make a better skin? I've tried blending and a few other things but i can never get the nipples to line up. So once its rendered if the breast get to the bigger side you can see a underlines of a nipple so its like the skin its self shifts up and to the left by an inch or two. From a distance it looks normal, but from a distance of say, some of the screen shots that have been posted it can be seen. Its killing my OCD...just saying ><

So with the sex beds and their animation are any tied to male or female. I mean does it know the difference, I've been looking through the FCS on it. Haven't seen anything that stands out. But in game all beds will stack females, but play fine if male/female are involved. I thought i saw the 2B model using both points male or female, so it would work FxF and FxM. But then i remember reading somewhere on here that 2B race was set to male? I'm stupid new to modding. Been practicing for the last few months, so i can open things and get around to changing minor things, and not completely shit-canning whatever i'm messing with. So i figure I'm either overlooking something, or the name it self is set to something that doesn't stand out as male or female.

Retexturing would not solve a lot, the UV maps shift a bit and are very annoying when mapping the normals, a possible solution would be making a complete remesh and somehow skinning correctly to the existing skeleton, new UVs and all, but that would be so bloody troublesome that I won't even start numbering them. Kenshi was not planned to work with heavy modding it seems.. the FCS is a lot limited compared to skyrim and fo4 CKs (even tough the first runs a lot better), and implementing stuff seamlessly is just very difficult.

It's currently on the steam workshop. Now the Cleo race on the kenshi nexus has a 2b, but that race has a very weird, very hot ultra thicc body that does not play well with the current kenshi armor, thankfully the mod author made some skimpy armor for them.

It appears that they are selling them via that website. Now conjoh is no stranger to animations and skeletons, apparently before kenshi conjoh made and sold a bunch of second life mods, which explains why they were so damn successful fixing kenshi animations.

@Seeks Yeah, I started modding with Fallout 4, Bethesda modding indeed spoiled me too and I set my capabilities and time to improve way too high, still, I will have a prototype before the year ends but I overestimated myself by a large margin... Still, I have a large sense of duty and after seeing too many modders giving up on their projects, I will have something up.

Weren't they doing it for 2? I believe they said they weren't sure if they were gonna bother with 1 since it would be much harder to do and will take longer than doing the sequel from scratch.

So it depends. 

 

Most of the races will be made nude by the nude mod on the nexus, no problems. However others like the kawaii face race will not. 

 

Now, i did a "hack" where i took the nude meshes, copied them over from the nude bod, and renamed them to the kawaii face skins, and that made them nude. So if you have a special waifu that you need to make naked that will work, but they will look like there will be a line at the neck from the old skin color.

Unreal engine can give kenshi more potential and less limits
I think we will not see interesting mods like loverslabs until they define that

So, with Kenshi 2 being made in Unreal (And it looks like they're going to be focusing strictly on K2 for the forseeable future if the voting is gonna continue as is) I assume we'll be able to see way more nudity and mods made around sex.

it is probably faster than it was kenshi 1, for a long time the game was developed by 1 person
and they can probably do a port from kenshi 1 to kenshi 2 making them start with content from 1

This game will never be as popular as Skyrim simply because Kenshi is just a sand box and not an RPG with quests, characters and storyline. Even more important - there is no magic (I love it but for casuals magic or super powers is a must).

Therefore not many people would bother modding it. Porting content from Skyrim mods was the easiest thing to do yet nobody bothered.

 

I have no hope for great erotic content either. We are diving deeper into Holy Nation's puritanism with censorship getting more malicious and rampant day by day.
