Pink Blossom Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Hi guys... Everytime I go AFK on Skyrim it crashes with "Runtim Error r6025" and I can't figure out how to fix it. It happens only when I go afk, (and yes I can't press ESC or put it in pause beacause I need it for mods). I thought it was because of the camera rotation delay when you go afk, so I disabled it in the Skyrim.ini but it still crashes (but I red online that you can't apply it on a already existing save). Any idea? I've already installed the right versions of the microsoft "vcredist" also the one in the Skyrim directory but nothing. I have Skyrim Legendary Edition on Steam and also disabled antivirus controls on Skyrim, ENB etc. Memory problem? These are my enb settings on memory (I use season of skyrim performance version) : [MEMORY] ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true DisableDriverMemoryManager=false DisablePreloadToVRAM=false EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false ReservedMemorySizeMb=256 VideoMemorySizeMb=11200 // Use VRamSize tool EnableCompression=false AutodetectVideoMemorySize=false And I use allocators=1 on crashfixes.ini of that mod so I don't need the skse.ini but I have it with 1280MB and 256MB
AWP3RATOR Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 I've seen multiple posts about this when I researched it. They seem to agree that it's related to Dawnguard and an issue with a quest called "Impatience of a Saint". This is a quest for a character named Jiub in the Soul Cairn about collecting pages of a book he was writing. Apparently, the quest being not started or started but incomplete can cause this issue. The posts all describe completing the quest to resolve the issue. Either complete the quest or console it with: setstage dlc1vqsaint 20 setstage dlc1vqsaint 30 setstage dlc1vqsaint 200 It's a side-quest, easily miss-able, and not related to the main story of Dawnguard in any material way. Aside from that, I've seen posts about updating your C++ to at least 2013 x86/x64. I haven't personally experience this one though. I do happen to have all versions of C++ through 2015(14.0.21215) on a Windows 10 Pro install. Also, have a read on the stickied post with "pure virtual function call" in this sub-forum...
Pink Blossom Posted October 31, 2017 Author Posted October 31, 2017 I've just tried it and this seems to be fixed, thank you!
