If you share the name of the class that you need a translation i could see if the loc already exist but i dont remember having blue texte on his mods.

Labrynth class has no translation and i'm having trouble with celestial witch (got error when i tryed to summon something)

I dont know where you get the Labrynth mod but i have an english loc in mine maybe it's because i get it on afdian and for the celestial witch you can try to redownload it or maybe it crash because you summon when there is no space left in the fight for the summon and that make the game crash.

Hey I know it's pretty late, but your localization seems to cause a crash when mousing over ability #4, called "calm and focused" according to the files. When removing the localization I do not crash when mousing over the ability. When re-adding it again, I am crashing once again

Sorry for that i only do trad for fun and for a personal used at first but i cant really fix it since i use IA for the most of the work and dont know how the xml and loc2 files work in the top of that i dont play the game to much the game anymore so i dont test my translation further than the hamlet/recrutment to see if there is blue text.

 

That said, I just retested the mod, using the action that causes the crash as much as possible, but I didn't experience any crashes. Do you have more details, such as the number of mods in the game? Perhaps there's a conflict. Did you modify any numbers in the game's code? Since I only tested it in the ruins, maybe the crashes only occur in other areas of the game. Does the crash occur every time you use the spell? But for me, with the 64-bit version of the game, I didn't have any problems.

Sure at first you'll have to download python with ggtrad and deep translate addon  i couldn't explain how to do it in english but you can ask chat gpt it's easy to do .

 

After make a folder that you can name translate as exemple where you want, for me it's on my desktop and inside you'll have to copy the colours folder of your darkest dungeon and unzip the winrar bellow.

 

After that when you want to translate a mod copy the localization folder of you mod in your translate folder then you can delete the loc2 file and move translate2.py in the localization folder and launch it, if all good he ll ask you to provide something like that : C:\Users\Yourname\Desktop\Translate\Localization\Yourmod_schinese.string_table.xml. if there an other xml files inside your localization you'll have to translate it too. after that the script ll translate all the [CDATA[众神指引] to make an english loc but after that it's not the end.

 

You'll have to change the name of your new XML with the same name as the base one but with english instead of schinese in the name. You'll need to open the xml after that with notepad ++ or if you have an other app to do it  and change <language id="schinese"> to <language id="english"> at the start of the xml and <language id="english"> to <language id="schinese"> at the end ( the language id can be all at the start  of the XML so be carful and make sure you  change schinese to english the one that is just before all the text that have been translated.) 

 

Once you changed the language and the name to fit an english trad, move out the translate2.py from your localization file and remove the schinese XML. You should only have 1 or 2 english XML, after that unzip the localization.zip in your localization folder and launch the localization.exe and if all is good he ll create an english.loc or loc2 so you have your translation but to make it usable you have to rename it the same way as the schinese loc or loc2 ( for the knight rose i had to change english.loc to Knight_Rose_english.loc because the base loc is Knight_Rose_schinese.loc).

 

Now remove what was inside the localization.zip to leave only the english XML and loc/loc2. Create a new folder and name it as you want but with engloc or trad at the end to make sure you know what this is put the localization folder inside and ad a preview icon, personally  i use the preview icon of the mod that i translate and edit it with paint  to write engloc or english patch to make a difference between the base mod and the trad. And you'll have to ad a project.xml to make it appear in game so you can copy the project xml of the knight rose trad that i made and just change the title as you want  and in the mod data path with the name of the mod that you wanted to translate. (<ModDataPath>D:/Steam/steamapps/common/DarkestDungeon/mods/01 Knight_Rose/</ModDataPath>
    <Title>01 Knight Rose - eng localization</Title>

And change Knight Rose by you mod name)

 

And it should be good .

 

But some time after using localization.exe you dont have english.loc and i don't know how to make it work it can mean that the base xml have some problem that make the .exe unable to work  same for some mod the translate2.py script don't even recognizes the xml. Since its using IA the trad isn't that great but as i said for me it's just to make fast translation that work to wait better translation but if you want to work more on your translation you can change  the inside of [CDATA[众神指引] yourself to make the hero say what you want like i did for the Yanzhi mod from poisonous tongue and vicious cat because there was almost no text inside.
