How do you install additional skins for modded heroes? Do you just put the skin folders in the mod folder?

Generally not. Something has to be specifically prepared as a mod to work when put in the mod folder. You can tell if it goes in the modfolder by a big folder with stuff like modfiles.txt in it. Most hero skins you instead go to the nearby heroes folder, then the appropriate hero for the skin. You'll want a folder like CRUSADER_E. Try to find that, most mods will give you a format like that. Put that folder straight into the appropriate hero. The number of skins you can have is limited by the alphabet. You can freely rename the folders and it will change the order they appear when you're changing them in-game. So if you have two skins that tried to use the same folder name you can just change one to a different letter.

And don't forget, you aren't limited to just the alphabet as well. For example, if I somehow used all 26 skin slots, but still wanted to add more, I could rename a folder like this: A_Crusader_A or B_Vestal_X or some other combinations. It also isn't limited to only one letter either! So I could use 26 to the power of 26 (whatever super big number that is I'm too lazy to check) different skin slots, for the same hero.

EDIT Found the reason. It was UI Enhancement mod. I forgot about it ant it was loading after LL, but still overwriting.

Sorry, my bad. Though why was it overwriting LL..

What you need to do is copy your base game localization folder, then move it to a different location. (so you can go back to vanilla if you don't like/want LL). Then, take the localization from Lustiest Lair, and copy it to the base game folder. Once you do that run the localization.bat file, which will apply the changes that LL makes. Then, you can copy the loc folder back to wherever your Lustiest Lair mod is. (it should be in the mods folder if you don't know/have it somewhere else) Then just copy the vanilla localization files back to the folder, and done.

 

Don't forget to make sure the mod is enabled as well.

Damn, it didnt work.

Did all step by step. No. And I did it before by editing LL localization bat file.

Then just copied LL loc xml files to DD loc folder, run localization bat.

Only thing changed is "Campaign" => "Hentai dungeon" in main menu.

What can possibly overwrite this?

I dont remember where did I find Plague Doc skin. Somewhere on forums.

On Occultist, I personally use this one. Didnt find better.

I also removed tentacles and stuff from niurs  fire keeper vestal, and I usually use the second versions of skins (nsfw but no tentacles). If you would share your edits I would love to see them.

It seems to be a combo of Kairos's Occultist, and NaNa skin Occultist.   

 

Good stuff.    She's not constantly smiling for no reason.  

 

Also someone was ripping on NaNa skins as a whole.

But let me just say that it's priceless with the 2 Riposte skills active.    She presents her behind, DODGE, then counterattack lol.    Hilarious.   Thot armor.

The next hero will indeed be our lovely doctor, meanwhile the vestal was finished earlier today.

 

I would post the vestal files, but out of respect for Xelsword and his amazing work, I would encourage you guys to just shoot him 5 bucks to get it or simply wait a few days. Xelsword's work is the best yet, imo, and more support for him means a better outlook in regards to him finishing the rest of the cast and even moving onto other .png's in the game.

To be honest, if i could shoot him 5 bucks i would, he indeed does amazing skins. Sadly, i can't even spare 5 bucks since i'm still a student. Everytime i found a nice patreon, i keep it on chrome so i may comeback when i can to give him a little something when i am able to do so.

See, if I had money or patience I wouldn't have asked. But I have neither. I don't see the issue, Xelsword has even said that they understand that not everyone can afford Patreon and that the stuff will be posted early. Right here even, when the Highwayman replacer was posted early.

Hi there first time posting. I hope that this doesn't offend the artists that made all the amazing and beautiful content in the first place, but I've been having lots and lots of fun playing around with them, and trying to turn the ordinary backgrounds into obscene landscapes and full-fledged fuckfests.

 

I don't know if I should keep doing this or not, and I might do it for myself before even playing the game, but please do let me know what you think and if you'd like me to keep making these. Would love to redo the entire game as girls that are trying to be the perfect brides/high priestesses for some dark God/lover, and  hey have to fight their way through all the 'lesser' pleasures and evils to get to their one true love.
