LiaChiao Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Hello there people. Recently I had to reinstall my entire system, and so I did Oblivion. I started to reinstall all the mods as well, but i have bumped in an issue. I always loved the CM Pym mod, so I got it up and running. My problem is, that I cant have the reace or the companion move its mouth. It says the dialogue but nothing else, no mimics, no open mouth or anything. I installed it with NMM like before. Any ideas?
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Try fast traveling? Tell her to wait, leave the cell, then come back? I've noticed it happen before with several different NPCs, and doing those generally fixed the problem.
gregathit Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 That is a bug that is common with CSR and CM partners.
LiaChiao Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 All right, so I did a bit of research and tried out many things and I have concluded the following: - All those custom races, who has a voice that doesnt have any voice acting wont move their lips ( which is strange, as they spoke to me on my XP previously, with their mouth moving, tough without sound) - Even when putting a race (I have tried orc, redguard, Imperial, every possible combinaions) the Pym race still refuses even to shed a single sound, or move their mouths. I have tried to seek the issue in the Mod manager, but everything seemed fine there. Anyone has an idea what on earth i wrong with my race? Does it have a certain script, that refuses to work?
Ark of Truth Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Try getting rid of NMM for start and use OBMM, so much better. Try place Pym just above the bash patch in the load order.
LiaChiao Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 Thank you for the advice... but when I enter the Inn where she supposed to be, the entire in is nothing but black void and the people are constant falling down... Nothing helps it seems :/ But thank you anyway for trying to help
Ark of Truth Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Ahhhhh......that's never a good sign. Ok you have to do this exactly as I put it. - Disable all mods, every last one. - Load your save, you will get a warning message about mods no longer installed blah blah. Just continue. - If it loads great if it doesn't not so great. - If it does go to the inn and check if its fixed, if not come back here. - If it is fixed only reactive the mods need to make Pym work and see if your issue goes away. If it doesn't come back here and post your load order. Hope this helps.
LiaChiao Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 Thank you. Diabling all the mods ficed the "void-inn" issue. however, my little companion still refuses to move its mouth. My simplyfied loadorder as it is now is the following: Oblivion.esm CM Partners.esm CM Partners More NPCs.esp CM Partners More NPCs NE.esp CM Partners NPC NE.esp CM Partners NPC.esp CM Partners Special NPCs.esp CM Partners.esp CM Partners Extra NPCs.esp CM Partners Marker NPCs.esp CM Pym.esp
Ark of Truth Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Well its not really a fix try installing this and see what happens. http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/16622 Make sure you have installed OBSE as well.
LiaChiao Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 Holy Cow Ark, you did it! It is finally working! Thank you all who helped me, so now I can proceed! <3
Ark of Truth Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Now that it is working slowly enable your mods and check if its stable. If its stable then you add a mod its most likely that mod is conflicting with something. Any more problems just shout.
Razarkis Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Thank you. Diabling all the mods ficed the "void-inn" issue. however' date=' my little companion still refuses to move its mouth. My simplyfied loadorder as it is now is the following: Oblivion.esm CM Partners.esm CM Partners More NPCs.esp <-- Pick either his one OR the next one, not both. CM Partners More NPCs NE.esp CM Partners NPC NE.esp <-- Pick either this one OR the next one - not both. CM Partners NPC.esp CM Partners Special NPCs.esp CM Partners.esp CM Partners Extra NPCs.esp CM Partners Marker NPCs.esp CM Pym.esp Also, this is the correct CM load order: Oblivion.esm CM Partners.esm CM Partners Special NPCs.esp CM Partners NPC/ NE.esp CM Partners More NPCs /NE.esp CM Partners Marker NPCs.esp CM Partners Extra NPCs.esp CM Pym.esp The CM plugins are buggy enough - you don't want to make it worse
