JackBikwik Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 Hey, guys! I'm trying to remove specific hairstyles from mods using the Creation Kit and Mod Organizer. I found This topic and everything is going according to plan, but this seems a bit inelegant and cumbersome. Is there a reason why I can't just delete the reference instead of simply unchecking "playable"? It seems like it would be a cleaner solution to just remove it from the mod entirely, but I'm not sure if there are issues with that. As an aside, the creation kit won't let me overwrite an esm. To be clear, I'm edding ApachiiSkyHair.esm. But when I attempt to save it, it can only save as an esp. From what I'm reading I would then need something to convert it to an esm to make everything play nice again (such as mods dependent on the original esm). Is there a better way to do this whole process? I've got over 1000 hairstyles from mods and I really would like to whittle them down.
JackBikwik Posted October 23, 2017 Author Posted October 23, 2017 Edit: I see now that the picture you show is actually from TES5Edit and does what I need it to. I think you may have forgotten to put a description with the pic lol
