Guest Electriq Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Hello, I have a lot of hairstyle mods installed, they are Apachii, SG Hair Pack and KS Hairdo's, which means that in game I have way too many hairstyle choices (over 800 atm) and even if I wanted to I would never be able to use that many Which leads to my question, how do I remove some of those hairstyles that I don't really like and keep only the hairstyles that I like? So far I just gathered names of some of those that I don't like (thanks to Racemenu that shows name), but the next step what I should do is a mystery to me Keep in mind that I am not really knowledgeable about Skyrim modding so I might need nicely detailed instructions Thanks in advance!
NickNozownik Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Open the Creation Kit and select a mod that you want to edit (just double click), then click on "Set as Active File". Its status should change to "active file". Then select all of its requirements listed under "Parent Masters" and click OK. It'll probably show a bunch of errors, just ignore them by clicking "cancel". Once everything is loaded then simply find the unwanted hairstyle, double click on it and remove the "playable" flag and click OK. When you'll edit everything you want then click on "File" tab in the top left corner and "Save". Hairstyles are under Character>HeadPart>male/female/unisex>Head Part Here's a screenshot (I edited something from extra part by mistake, hairstyles are under HeadPart) :

NickNozownik Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 You're welcome. If you mean textures and meshes for hairstyles that are no longer playable then no, they won't cause any problems or crashes. There's no need to delete or edit them.
