tm2dragon Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Okay, I'll admit it.......I suck at adding mods. No matter how carefully I order my loads, or how slowly I take things, by the time I have the physics, UI, necessary requirements, animations, body, outfit, etc mods installed, SOMETHING has gone horribly wrong. Last time I tried, my character's butt-cheeks would not stop twitching like they were trying to ESCAPE! A friend once told me that instead of adding mods one by one, she just downloaded pre-organized collections, so that everything would be set up with one touch of a button. I, on the other hand, have never seen nor heard about this possibility before! Is this an actual thing? Where do you get these collections? Are they installed through mod-manager? PLEASE tell me this is an actual thing, cause at this point, I've given up on creating my dream of a Skyrim populated by scantly glad, jiggling ladies with lustrous skin, and proportions that would make even Jessica Rabbit jealous!
AWP3RATOR Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Due to the ridiculous size that a pre-configured mod pack would take.... it's generally not something you find here or the nexus. Instead you'll find sets of recommended mods that work together, with instructions on installation order, troubleshooting, etc. One such example for an ENB is here. Another, more in-depth list is here. This one is more inclusive of mods from loverslab.(and is extremely well written) Thanks @Anatriax
Nazzzgul666 Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Besides that it's quite unlikely you actually get the mods you want in such a pack. They aren't really a thing because of permissions & licences, imho much bigger problem than work & size. And even if you'd find one it's not unlikely that you experience some problems anyways... those twitching butt cheeks for example are something i had for a while sometimes, quick save & load fixed it temporarily. I believe (i.e. not sure) that things like that depend on a lot of things, settings, hardware, background software running,... i know for sure that's true for bundles of script mods, regardless if you install them in a pack or one after another. Another thing that helps with weird physics is setting an FPS limit in enblocal.ini. And finally i've found some physics that don't twitch, but that this specific one works for me doesn't mean it works for you. There are several, try a bit. In my sig you find a couple of tutorials to start with modding, the first one assumes you use MO, though. MO is more complicated to start with, but if things go wrong then it's way less time consuming to fix it. Imho worth the time because as you've learned, something _will_ go wrong.
