GMac2021 Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 I generally mod my game to fit my own little reaity. I hit on something that I though other people might like, si I decided to upload it to "The Nexus" WTF? There is no justification for the hoops they made me jump through. I had an easier time buying my house and my car than I did uploading one file to THE NEXUS. (I put that in caps because there should be Anglic choirs singing anthem`s every time I type the words "THE NEXUS" My mortgage document is shorter than the Nexus's upload forms. I WISH I never did that. Damn! Who caresÉ Asian language support is biting me in the ass and I have to reboot, anyways.
Ark of Truth Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 So your complaining about the upload form? If you don't like it don't upload it there. Simples.
Art_B Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 Elder Scrolls has gone pretty mainstream, especially with the success of Oblivion and now Skyrim. I understand if they feel the need to be stringent to avoid offending mainstream sensibilities. There is still Loverslab for the rest of us.
GMac2021 Posted August 13, 2012 Author Posted August 13, 2012 Funny stuff Garcemac Lol! It probably didn't help that my keyboard went all Asian on me... and I was drunk... Ark of Truth - with all due respect - that's not an upload form; Its the Spanish Inquisition. And NO-ONE expects the Spanish Inquisition! Its easier to get a driver's license - or parole - than it is to fill that thing out. I have my own dedicated server (yay for me!) where I plan on hosting my mods. I thought maybe I'd upload bits and pieces of them to The Nexus until the actual mods are finished. After THAT debacle? Not again.

For the most part, LL relies on third parties to download its more "adult" mods. They're either unreliable, or prone to being shutdown or blocked (not LL - the third party hosts...) The Nexus does not care - at all - about impropriety of content or copyright infringement. They have mods that use many of the same anims as Lovers w/PK, and there are UNCOUNTABLE "unauthorized" costumes and armours - not to mention actual photographic face rips of recognizeable characters available for download. And they banned Krista. Its all very arbitrary over there(y).
