HanPL Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 I think you anwsered yourself. No Textures. Did you install any new race/overhaul mod ? If yes then make sure you extracted/installed everything properly. Also some clothes that are not compatible with certain body can do that.

If he was missing textures his hands would be coming up as purple like it does in Oblivion. However it is also a sign that your computer has run out of memory to render textures and meshes. Did you have the 4GB patch installed before the last game update?
HanPL Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Also possible. But if Skyrim rans out of memory usually more things turn into purple not 1 certain thing + after purple glitch starts to show up game crashes soon after that.
Ark of Truth Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 It depends in the order it renders stuff. If it renders the clothes and then run out of memory before the rendered the world it would crash but it won't crash if its renders the world before the armors. Also I think you will find Skyrim uses 1GB memory by default of which only a certain amount of that is allocated to textures for actors.
