Guest Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 how do I make an armor pack replacer to a standalone armor pack?
ppp Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 You move the meshes to a new folder(s) (instead of occupying existing folders, so they no longer act as a replacer), then use the Creation Kit to make an .esp to link the meshes with the stats you want. Probably by copying the existing armor entries and adding the new meshes. Look up tutorials on how to create a custom armor in the Creation Kit. The process is pretty much identical. It's not hard, just time-consuming, especially if you have a lot of armors to add.
yatol Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 using crap kit for that? load a renamer tool on your mod folder, to add something before the _ (7b, 2, bikini, whatever) copy paste archmagerobe armor addon and the rest in tesedit add 7b, 2, bikini, whatever before the _1.nif copy paste archemagerobe armor and the rest give armor addon xxyyyyy1 to archmage armor xxyyyyy2 to next one xxyyyyy3 to next one ... copy paste archemage constructible and the rest give armor xxyyyyyya to archmage contructible xxyyyyyb to next one .... that's done in a few minutes to give that to npcs without creating a mess nobody can understand rename skyrim to skyrim2 renumber archmage armor to xx9yyyyy (no record update, or just the constructible and tempering but it's faster to just edit that later) copy paste a leveled armor to xxyyyyyy (the original archmage id) you don't want to have to renumber that leveled list to add something to it later because it override an armor put archmage armor there and in your esp that add 7b, 2, bikini, whatever, add those armors to that leveled list
