Kinkyworld TV *Updated* 10/13/2017

I'll give this a go. Been making more 'couch potatoes' lately and it helps raise skills/arousal passively without the need to babysit.

 

I've grown used to the music the original channels had but the scenes were always fine.

 

I run 2 SSD's on the gaming rig and keeping room can be a problem for me if I don't manually move saves around. You know Fallout, Skyrim, the Sims 3 and others can really load up a drive with saves over time if you don't weed them regularly.

 

And... Thanks for taking your time to create and share. Modded games are a huge part of my entertainment.

I've been *craving* doing another one of these, but not for the KW main channels since I'm satisfied with the ones I have, but for the regular Sim Channels like Romance, Action, and Comedy; mainly to add them into the Large as Life Movie Screen. But I would like the moodlets Sims get to also change based off what they watch, or at least also get them horny/aroused. It would be cool if KW also supported the Video Cameras that come with Generations so that Sims who recorded other Sims having sex and later viewed them would get horny/aroused from it.

I have the latest build, and everything works fine. Make sure you did not replace the  ONIKI_Videos.package with the one provided with KinkyWorld (it's a much smaller file size). Also make sure you delete scriptCache.package in your Documents/The Sims 3 Folder.

Hello, just curious, why do you need to delete the  scriptCache.package? If I missed an explanation somewhere then I'm sorry.

It's a safe check, usually no problems should occur weather or not you delete it or not when dragging the package in. But it's good to delete the scriptCache.package the first time you place the mod package into the mod folder. This also helps clear up any other mod errors you might have had in the past.

Be abso sure to remove ONIKI_Videos from the Mods folder.

I should've said delete.
Delete the original ONIKI_Videos and replace it with the new Oniki_Videos you downloaded from JackiMah.

I am having trouble with the videos. ONIKI_Videos.package   Mediafire says that there is an error with download.  It says it is repairing my download but it just starts over and gives the same error.  I have tried about a dozen times.  Please help.

Downloaded yesterday, got to play with them last night and they work great! I have to say it was a bit jarring to hear non-simlish in the game ? Very well done and very sexy. Thank you very much for sharing!

This mod crashes my game  think it needs to be updated cuz i installed it and my game wouldnt open, i took it out and now my game works again

I updated the images in this post, so they show up properly on multiple platforms. This mod should run properly for the people who downloaded it and have capable computers without stuttering. I would also highly recommend people download The Sims 3 Smooth Patch 1.2.1 by Lazy Duchess it's a game changer on so many levels.

I don't know if anyone else is having this issue but when I go to play it on the TV, it shows the classic sims 3 computer screen, i,m not sure if I did something wrong but I did have the original replaced with your file

I have them working on KW build 409, but I installed them differently. I put them into my Overrides folder. You have to make sure that overrides is configured correctly in your Resource.cfg file, so that the package file is found and loaded. As an example, my configuration has this:

 

Priority 500
PackedFile "Packages/*.package"
PackedFile "Packages/*/*.package"
PackedFile "Packages/*/*/*.package"
PackedFile "Packages/*/*/*/*.package"
PackedFile "Packages/*/*/*/*/*.package"

Priority 1000
PackedFile "Overrides/*.package"
PackedFile "Overrides/*/*.package"
PackedFile "Overrides/*/*/*.package"
PackedFile "Overrides/*/*/*/*.package"
PackedFile "Overrides/*/*/*/*/*.package"

 

This means that it can find .package files directly in the Overrides folder, and package files that are in a directory in Overrides, down to four directories nested. The priority value makes packages loaded from overrides be used in place of packages that are in the Packages folder.

 

Setting it up this way, I don't have to worry about remembering to replace the file if I reinstall KW (or update it, etc.).

I installed Oniki's package and the TV channels aren't working... It's still the classic channels
