SilverBaSeS Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 So I was trying to tweak the dress in Kibelius mod to make it more transparent than it already is, and since i lack any skill in modifying texture, just wanna know if there's any way to make an armor more transparent in bodyslide?Â
Frankfranky Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Transparency is controlled in the alpha channel of the texture. Open the texture in Photoshop or Gimp. Click the channels tab. Click on the Alpha channel. White is opaque. Black is Invisible. So you want a shade of grey to make it transparent. In your case you want a darker shade of grey to make it more transparent. Make sure you resave your texture as a .dds with dtx5
Guest Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Also you can change the transparency in bodyslide by right clicking on the object, and selecting properties. There should be a transparency box you can change.
Todd420 Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 tweak the texture in photoshop. Nialpha properties are already setup in the mesh. post the diffusion texture and I'll edit it for you if you don't know how. If you want it ghost like, that can be done in the mesh in the alpha properties as well using nifskope.
