Dohyl Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 After having many mods yesterday I deleted them all and the whole game for a clean reinstall. I reinstalled the game + DLCS and newest update. So how the hell in the world, in my vanilla game clean game and save do I still have the grey face issue? It's legitimately driving me crazy, spending hours googling and watching videos and none has worked. There's no mods in the game, no texture mods, all vanilla, just how are npc grey faces still there...
Stuzy44 Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Man this is a x-file for sure..did you try it without installing the dlc's?
yatol Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 in my vanilla game clean game and save do I still have the grey face issue? the save, that's the last esp if you uninstall mod x, whatever from it that got in the save, stay in the save because of that some mods require a new game to work
Dohyl Posted August 31, 2017 Author Posted August 31, 2017 Man this is a x-file for sure..did you try it without installing the dlc's? Not really, I'll try that if everything else fails. the save, that's the last esp if you uninstall mod x, whatever from it that got in the save, stay in the save because of that some mods require a new game to work Okay, interesting thing happened. Before reinstalling skyrim I had many mods and many textured ones especially, including this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14443/ and after deleting whole game and installing it again, I decided to try to install this same mod. It did work on every female NPC, except dark elfs. So in one way I'm glad it did work but, still need to discover how to fix dark elfs.
