Pfactor Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 Nvidia begged me to update my drivers so I finally did. Now all the characters have no eyes! Also some NPCs are invisible and even walls and floors are missing. I attached the wireframe to show that her eyes are not black, but actually missing. The walls/floors are the shame in wireframe but still solid and there when I walk over them. Where should I start fixing things short of a fresh install??
Guest Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 Yes you should always update your drivers and this isn't why you're having this problem. Can you please give info? 1.) Load Order 2.) Why is the environment for testing? (Reproducing the problem) 3.) Do you use an ENB? Do you ahve the latest version 4.) Do you use SKSE? 5.) Is your framerate capped at 60fps. 6.) Have you tried on a new game with the same mods installed? Mod Organizer User Have you tried on a new game with no mods installed?
Pfactor Posted August 25, 2017 Author Posted August 25, 2017 Yes you should always update your drivers and this isn't why you're having this problem. 1. Everything is normal. 2. Installed new Drivers. NOTHING else had changed. 3. No one has eyes and things are invisible. Now tell me again how it's not my drivers?
Guest Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 Looks like you got it all figured out its the drivers yep, just rollback to a previous version problem solved man you're such a genius you didn't even need me I came in here thinking I could help someone but little did I know they knew everything and they actually helped me, thanks </sarcasm>

I'd get a second opinion.

I'd get a second opinion. This confuses me. If the eyes were actually not just displaying, but missing as you said, how could a driver update do this - remove the eye .nif files? Or am I missing something? Having a GTX 1080, I wanna know in case this happens to me!
Guest Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 @Pfactor Go through life thinking you know everything then you'll learn nothing, its okay to have a general idea of what your problem is but to assume you know the problem is very ignorant, I can actually easily explain it tbh and its not the driver while it could be a side effect of the symptom its not the overall problem. Medically you could describe it as: -------EXAMPLE------- YOU: "Hey doc my legs aren't working my leg bones must be broken" DOC: You're paralyzed because you broke your spine YOU: My SPINE!!?!? Its my legs doc not my spine idiot *rolls off to get a better opinion because hes dumb* DOC: ......... ---------------------------
C5Kev Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 @C5Kev I would explain it too you but you already figured it out its the driver, you obviously know everything so why should I answer your question when you know it? - - snip - - Excuse me? Why be a wise-guy to me?
Guest Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 @C5Kev I apologize I mistook you for the OP completely ignore everything I said xD

Pfactor Posted September 5, 2017 Author Posted September 5, 2017 on a whim I ran TES5Edit and it said my registry was corrupted. I ran the default launcher and everything was fine except for my ENB settings told me my skyrimpref file was incorrect. I changed that too. But I still don't know how the above happened that updating my drivers caused stuff to disappear. I posted the wireframes to show that there was nothing there.
Guest Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 You're mental if you think updating your drivers did any of what you're suggesting..
yatol Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 1. Everything is normal. 2. Installed new Drivers. NOTHING else had changed. 3. No one has eyes and things are invisible. Now tell me again how it's not my drivers? as if it could be drivers it's just a conflict leftovers from a patch between tamriel reload and don't remember, i forgot to removed after removing the mod of course you want to fix your mess? go that cell in tesedit, and check your conflicts and either move mod a under b, get rid of one, or make a patch and your eyes problem, it's also a mod, whatever it is
Pfactor Posted September 5, 2017 Author Posted September 5, 2017 As I said earlier. My registry was corrupted. I fixed it. Didn't have to change any mod or mod order.
