Actually tell me which one better, F3 or F3NV or both?

First off, the story sucks. A lot. Seriously, don't do it; just tell the main story to fuck off. As long as you don't go into the Lucky 38 and the Tops in New Vegas, you can ignore it.

Second, unless you mod it, you're not getting perks every level. Honestly I find perks a lot more useful in New Vegas, so I always use a mod.

Third, until you get decent armor DON'T FUCK WITH NIGHT STALKERS. Until you get a good supply of antivenom, DON'T FUCK WITH CAZADORES.

Fourth, Survival is possibly the best skill as it helps you get more healing from food items. Which are more plentiful than Stimpaks.

Fifth, find a 12.7mm submachine gun as soon as possible; silent kills are fun kills, and nets you so much profit without risking the wrath of the NCR/Legion/Powder Gangers/whoever the fuck faction.

So i heard.

I'll install NV and see what it has to offer. Since this is not NEXUS i can rip all their important content and import their features down to F3.

Especially the creatures & creatures mods.. Or is this import attempt has been done before ?

--------

i also read that FOOK NV fix the numerous thousands of NV bugs.. is this true? is everyone on FOOK?

is there no FWE version of NV?

or does everyone play NV strictly for Sexout?

Hardly anyone plays FO3 these days as far as I know. You stand a better chance importing FO3 to New Vegas.

NV has a lot more to offer in the ways of sex mods. Sexus (FO3) is extremely outdated compared to NV version. New mods are hardly made for FO3 these days.

You will need FOOK NV most likely. As to FWE I am not sure if there is one.

Thanks. I'll try NVEC & FOOK.

---

let's see if NV is worth it, but I'm definately importing NV creatures variants to fallout.3 that's for sure, Like i did skyrim to oblivion and voice them up with something gruesome.

I'm not actually into sex or porn. But more to monster, violence & gores like all the depressing stuff in dead space where a small powerless character tried to survive all odds or end tragically.

I play NV more than FO3 these days; it's hard to go back for anything that's not the plot (yes, even FO3s shit story is better than NV's even more shit story) or being able to fight the Enclave.

And even then I have a mod that adds the Enclave to NV, so it's all down to story.

I've been playing 3 years on F3 and i think it was not good enough. so if i can make it into a better place by importing NV asset to it. Before that i need to see what NV has to offer.

Be careful with FOOK as it changes so damn many things. I abandoned both FOOK and NVEC myself and just made a custom esp and dumped all the clothes/weapons/armor mods into it.

I use parts of XFO's mods too: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/37871

What I truly like about XFO is how flexible it is. You can choose what you want based on how you want to play. FOOK and NVEC don't allow you those choices.

Throw in WarZones and Increased wasteland spawns (IWS) and you have a very dangerous desert!

While I agree the main story is not put together all that well, it is worth playing in my opinion once, just so you understand what is going on, if for no other reason to point out what you may want to change/avoid in future play throughs.

I've done all four routes; they all suck. None of them have anything up on the other; the only one that doesn't make you feel like a pawn is Independence, and even then YOU'RE the asshole at the top.

I'd of liked it if they atleast changed some things up; about the only real difference is that the Legion asks you to -GASP!- approach a different New Vegas family! They all end with practically the same mission in the very end, it just means you have to deal with one more or one less asshole.

Killing Caesar really should have had a much more profound impact on the game than it did, perhaps even giving an alternate way to end the game. Instead, you still assault/defend Hoover Dam and potentially have to deal with Legate Lanius.

Thanks greg, that should coming handy. Still getting the latest version 1.4.0.525. Can't hardly play until it's finish.

yea who cares that you pirate i pirate every game before i buy since the last time i didn't do that i ended up with the most lamest game ever still swarming my steam!

I BTW did buy Oblivion and NV in the steamsales

other Fallout games can get away with having the same quasi end game mission since they don't follow different paths. But the fact that Fallout 1 has a complete different ending if you agree to follow the Master just burns more when in New Vegas, you have multiple sides to choose from, yet they all end basically the same exact way.

I understand NCR and Legion have to end with Hoover Dam, but why does House, or Independent? Couldn't Hoover Dam be the second to last mission, or just one more step in a quest chain that ends with personally ridding the Mojave of NCR/Legion forces?

The fact of the matter is, they got lazy with the end game of New Vegas and just had all paths end on Hoover Dam. Even near end game the paths become horribly similar, the Boomers and Brotherhood are basically present in each one, as is atleast one New Vegas family. The only amazing difference is that in Independent, you can ignore Kimball on Hoover Dam completely.

tl;dr all I wanted was them to put in more effort to make the various paths feel more unique, rather than cut and paste when it comes to end game.

That's part of the appeal of Fallout - never a completely happy ending and you can't get everything you want. Just like real life.

As for piracy, we don't go on a witch hunt if someone is open they pirated the game, but on the flipside you won't get any tech support from us if Sexout mods glitch. That's because many pirated versions of games are unstable and we can't tell what the problem with it is.

That's why i bought it not because the game was any good but it was just like 10 euro or so and Sexout is a good mod just like Lovers but also Oblivion overall is a much better game.

Having played both games 200+ hours(maybe 300+ f3), I find NV a lot better at being a fallout game. Granted in both games main quest line sucks balls, and even if the world is smaller in NV, it still has a lot more feel to it.

Also, I'd suggest installing Project Nevada and JSawyer mods asap. With just those two mods you make the game so much more challenging and therefor more rewarding.

NV's story is fine. Way better than Fallout 3's terrible attempt. It's not mind blowing or anything but it's purpose is more to point you to different areas to explore and IMO that's all a story in a sandbox game like this should do.

Unless you want to reinvent the wheel you should focus on making new vegas mods and just uninstall f3.

Yeap pretty much user29. Bethesda has always been hit or miss on the story front, I was pretty happy to hear that Obsidian was doing NV, considering they(back when they were Black Isle did FO/FO2 -- not to mention my favorite PS:Torment). It shows, especially with the goofy parts and the wild wasteland trait. Much more falloutish than FO3.

Except if you follow the path main quest gives you, and do the sidequests along that path, you'll probably end up exploring around 60% of the mojave. (Or I have missed bunch of quests in each and every playthrough)

And when you compare main quest to side quests, it really does suck. Although thats still my opinion.
