Hi i have a question about weapons and armor do they make the game harder for example if after completing the prologue i spawned in dragon bone armour and weapons and equipped them would the game then start making higher tiered enemys start being encountered even though my characters level is low?

No, the difficulty of the enemies you encounter is determined by your character's level, not their equipment.

EDIT: Should add, though, that some mobs are set according to the area they're placed in. So, if a barrow or something is coded to have a Draugr Deathlord or a Dragon Priest or something in it, you'll encounter it no matter what level you are.

It doesn't affect the level of mobs, however unless you've modified the stats of said armor / weapons, you'll be stronger than intended for your level, making the game easier than it is supposed to be at that stage. In effect, lowering difficulty.

Oh ok thanks guys I'd known about the some areas having high level mobs in them due to code but i was never quite sure if mobs would become higher leveled due to the gear you had or not I've just got back into playing skyrim again and the last time i played i had a mod in that gave you access to full ebony armour, along with an ebony shield, sword, bow and a load of arrows near riverwood and i can kinda remember meeting higher level mobs early on but it was a while ago so I'm probably misremembering and just remembering the areas were the mobs were coded to be high level and now that i think about it i think i also had a couple of mods that increased the level of/amount of/ generally made the mobs more difficult i'll have to have a poke through my mod list and check but thanks anyway for your help guys
