Who do you marry?

I been playing skyrim for almost 50 hours now. It's time to settle down and find a partner to settle down!

 

Too bad the only person I am interested in is Sapphire from the thieves guild. Too bad she is not available for marriage..... So does anyone know if there is any interesting character out there that's available for marriage? Or should I just go for Lydia like everyone else.

well i dont go for Bethseda's marriable npcs. i usually make my own uber companion and if marry then her.

Check out Forbidden Romance mod (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6786) on Nexus. It modifies a lot of NPCs (including Sapphire) to give them the marriage option. It's supposed to be updated soon so you may want to wit a bit, and you have to also install FNIS.

I'd wait on it. It was becoming a bit buggy and was seriously out of date (last working with Skyrim 1.5). Supposedly the authors have a new version they are testing and will be updating (fingers crossed). However, there are other mods which allow marriage options for "unmarriable" NPCs. The Multiple Marriages mod ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9378 ) allows you to set any NPC as marriage material. There's also More People to Marry ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24393 ). Haven't tried it so I will not guarantee it. Basically, search on Nexus for marry or marriage and you should get several options for marriage candidates or converting NPCs to be marriage material.

I never actully have married Saphire, but when I make a dedicated theif one day, the certainly will do using mods.

 

Generally, I find Ysolda sweet. However Serana, marriable or not, is close enough to a wife for my main (when I actually play Skyrim properly, anyway) to play 'girlfriends' forever anyway.

I myself Married Mjoll the Lioness . I don't know what it is but something about her just makes my heart feel all fuzzy. I love her ability to just run in with me and destroy a small army of Imperial guard, Her accent, Looks and her personality is just Win win for me in skyrim.

Im married to the dark elf apprentice girl from the college of winterhold on the mage im playing.

 

Also use japanese voice pack so they dont all sound like someone standing there reading a script. Why do english speakers suck so bad at voice overs omg...

You had no problem with BNPC so far? Because it hasn't been updated since a while and my game kept crashing after around one minute. And I wish there would be japanese voice overs for Vilja and Cerwiden...not that I don't like their voices but they just don't fit if every other character speaks japanese.
