SuckItAndSTFU Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Okay I just installed some slave mods, Devious Devices assets, intergration, and extention. I also installed SD+, immersive slaves, simply slavery, and cursed loot. Also the Alternate Life plugin where it starts you off as a slave about to be sold. So When I created my character everything was fine on her, when I did the Alternate life start and took me to a cage everything was invisible except the arm bounds behind my back, my head and some heels. Anyone know what may have cause my body to disapper.( I am using the UNP body). I am new to adding my mods and pc gaming in general so any help will be greatful. Let me know anyone needs additional information to help me. I also took a screen shot not sure where it was stored yet when I find it I will post it. EDIT: FOUND PIC.
Ramia73 Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 You did install everything from the Integration, Assets and Expansion and built them all with bodyslide? There should 33 entries on Batch build from Devious Devices when you build them, marked as DDX and DDA.

I downloaded and installed SD+ which had required files which included DD Integration, Assets, and expansion as well and some others basically everything on that page that was required. As I went to those mod pages and download that mod and everything that was required there. I did download Bodyslide but I did not build anything with it. That could be the problem I will have to look into that and figure out what I need to do with that and hope it fixes the issue. If that does not work and I will go to plan B and remove all my mods and start over and do it they way I probably should of done it and install a mod and test to see if it working before I move on to adding another mod. I will post back if the bodyslide thing works.

The simplest possible answer is that you need to build devious devices in bodyslide. If you don't you won't have most of the devious meshes and the devices will be invisible when worn. If those devices replace your character's actual body when equipped (such as catsuits, straitjackets and hobble skirts) then your body will also turn invisible. The linked tutorial above is one of the most straightforward guides for how to build the devices. There really is no way around learning bodyslide if you want to use devious devices these days.
17skyrim Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 The problem for many can be Vortex not installing DD correctly. Vortex needs to place DD files in the correct folder so that BS can read the files for batch building. The latest version of Vortex installs DD correctly. I know that because I have not been able to get DD to work for 12mths, until I reinstalled with the laster version of Vortex. Now all the DD files show up in BS. I was able to build the DD assets and get DCL to work. I used this tutorial to build the assets.
