Female character has broader shoulders than npc's

When I picked up fallout 4 again (first time since release) and installed bodyslide to make my character skinny with smaller breasts, the first thing I noticed was that my character's shoulders looked broad and wide as hell!  I think the small breasts skinny frame only exacerbated the problem.  I googled and found this solution: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4952820-bodyslide-cannot-change-shoulder-width/

 

so I set the shoulder width to between 200-300% and now my character looks normal for her frame... but OMG the npcs.  I don't know why, but their shoulders are like twice as small as my player characters.  It looks like they don't really have any shoulders at all.  Anyone have any idea what's happening here?  I think it may be because the animations for female npc's have them relaxing their shoulders while the character's shoulders are always raised or something... idk, but other females look hella scary.
