ParkwayNightmare Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 Hey everyone! So I am a brand new member here, I was told about this site earlier today so I figured I would check it out.. Now I have some questions: Is ALL of the mods here for PC use? I ask because I am an xbox one user, I don't have a good enough PC built for gaming. If so, would anyone be interested in trying to put some of these up for console users? Also, if there are any people here that actually create mods, I would love to spit some ideas your way to see if it's even possible.. So if anyone is up for taking on a task (that ultimately would be able to be used by console users as well) please get ahold of me!
Sarge Misfit Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 Don't know about Xbox compatibility being a PC user, but there are modders all over the place You're going to find that people are pretty friendly and helpful around here And welcome to the Lab Â
Akzyra Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 Regarding XBOX: Uploading to Bethesda.net would result in problems, they do not allow most stuff that is on here (Adult Mods). If you want a mod that probalby would be allowd on XBOX, ask nicely in the topic for the mod.Maybe the author has the time and motivation. Bethesda.net Guidelines for Mods Â
vinfamy Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 Theoretically, a XBox-compatible version of Four-Play that has less features than the PC version (no hotkeys etc) can be made relatively easily, and I would personally be okay to make it as console users deserve some sexy fun time too. But Bethesda.net bans sexual content (despite their games being rated 18+ for violence), so frankly, we're not in the business of smuggling mods. Also, some modders on here explicitly prohibit their content from appearing on Bethesda.net, content which Four-Play may use. Â
ParkwayNightmare Posted August 6, 2017 Author Posted August 6, 2017 Thanks Sarge!! This could go to both Alzyra & vibrant, I understand Beth doesn't allow or want that kind of content available. However people still find a way, just like this one mod I have (and its still active) it allows children to be able to be killed. The name it's under has NOTHING to do with it. So unless you were looking for it, you would never know it existed.. It took me 3 days to hunt down the name for it just to make this zombie mod I have that much more immersive (because it made me furious that zombies would invade a settlement and kill off everyone but the kids.. not anymore!) So I know there are ways around it. I also have a nudity mod, that I got by pure accident. I just wanted a shirtless mod for my guy, well after killing a raider I took her clothes and she was butt naked. I was like "Whoa! This mod just got That much cooler.." and I'm talking it's pretty detailed as well, HaHa.
Sarge Misfit Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 I wonder if there'd be enough support for a Console section here on LL
ParkwayNightmare Posted August 6, 2017 Author Posted August 6, 2017 Probably not at first.. but you gotta start some where! The main thing about getting certain mods on consoles is trying to keep it "low key" so certain people who get butt hurt over digital boobs or extra violence doesn't go "Run and tell mommy" (in this case mommy would be Bethesda) because they weren't invited to play, if you will.. I know not everything could or would make the transition, I'm just saying there are ways around it. I have been to forums where people put up content knowing damn well it's going to be taken down and then laugh over the time it took for it to happen.. however, they were rather dumb with their mod title. If you make it misleading, then no one would be the wiser.

Many adults want adult themed content without all the "but think of the children" stuff. Here on LL, people are concerned over the title not to disguise the content, but to ensure that we know what that content is. Â The nice thing is that we end up with a community of mature, open and accepting adults. People who don't get their panties twisted in a knot when confronted by full nudity, BDSM, homosexuality, transgender, and so on. Â I do hope LL thinks about adding sections for console users.
ParkwayNightmare Posted August 6, 2017 Author Posted August 6, 2017 Your "but think of the children" line made me crack up. Good one! I agree 100%. I personally think that's the biggest problem when it comes to stuff like that on consoles. People can't be mature about it and worry that little Billy might see a tit.. Even though the internet browser let's you access tons of sites that I'm sure Microsoft doesn't want people to use their xbox for.. I brought up the misleading title because say if someone were to do that. Make a thread stating what the title is, then in the actual post they could give a detailed run down on what is all on it. I know it seems like "wishful thinking" just, I hate coming to a barrier and having the mindset of "oh well, I tried!" I'm too stubborn to give up easily, HaHa!
Sarge Misfit Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 Well, while some titles may not be all that descriptive on LL, they certainly aren't misleading
ParkwayNightmare Posted August 6, 2017 Author Posted August 6, 2017 HaHa!! You know what I was talking about though..
