Alenynn Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Hello there. I have HGEC with BBB, MBP and High Rez Skin Texture installed. I have noticed though that when I am wearing clothing my skin reverts back to original settings but when I'm naked everything is perfect. I have attached a picture of what it looks like. I'm not too familiar with modding so I'm a little scared to go messing around with stuff especially since I just got everything working after a lot of trial and error. Any ideas? Would be much appreciated. -Noobalicious
gregathit Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 The reason is the clothing mesh replaces the nude mesh. You will either have to open the clothing mesh in nifskope to see where it is pointing and change it there or copy and paste over the texture that it is pointing to. The way most clothing and armor work is they switch out the body part(s) they cover with their mesh (there is not any body mesh under the clothing). This one of the deals you either have to change via modding or learn to live with when you switch out the default skins.

The only thing I see that maybe difficult though is that you want to change it for all of the default meshes? This would require you to pull all of the meshes from the BSA to do this i think. You would be better off using a armor replacer maybe

Thanks a lot for the help guys. I do have Dungeon Explorer mod..epic sexy armor. I see a lot of people with like 50+ mods. It boggles my mind. Hopefully one day I can achieve such things
