Tsarsalami Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Ello. Need help with testing a follower Ive done. Its a standalone male follower that is a healer. High elf with KS hair, located in whiterun the drunken huntsman. Requirment is just a Skyrim up to date. Havent done anything with the face and body, so he will have whatever you have installed. What I need to check is if Ive done everything correct with the textures/meshes/directory. If anyone here is a screenarcher and want to take a pic too I would appreciate it, but its not a requirment, for all I know the follower is probably purple so it will look kinda wonky then Would really appreciate any kind of help here, tried another forum, but no one seems to be interested. Edit, took down the first version since it was incomplete, if you want it scroll down a bit
Guest Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 The folder structure is OK, but your nifs are using the path of KS for the textures. So they will not work without the proper KS installed.
Tsarsalami Posted July 26, 2017 Author Posted July 26, 2017 Thank you CPU I feared that was the case, know any straight-forward tutorial that can help me correct this issue? Will search on google in the meantime and see if I can understand nifscope. Im daft on this.
27X Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 You also don't have a racial tintmask set up so face/body mismatch will be a thing until you do.
Tsarsalami Posted July 26, 2017 Author Posted July 26, 2017 27X, oh my, never seen this thing before, didnt even know it existed, thanks for the help! Will check it up.
Tsarsalami Posted July 26, 2017 Author Posted July 26, 2017 Okey, fixed the tintmask, so thats working now. But the bloody hair refuse to appear with texture, even though its visible and fine in nifscope, Hah, been sitting for hours just checking the texturepath and tutorials. Anyone got a clue what im missing? Edit: F********* finally! Think this is working now: Farulv Standalone healer-follower1.2.zip
Guest Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 The main directory in the zip should be "Data" or the mod managers will have a hard time to install it. The NIFs are pointing to the correct location, and in NifSkope the Hairs looks good.
Tsarsalami Posted July 27, 2017 Author Posted July 27, 2017 Ahh, will fix that asap. A huge thank you for your help here! Edit: So, its up on the nexus so far. Will upload on this site soon. Will just check that it doesent explode or something.
