w5byy5b Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Looking to do a "knows no other life, drug dependant, do anything to get money to pay for drugs" playthrough and was wondering what selection of mods everyone would recommend. Here are some thoughts and ideas of what I am looking for: Added effects/consequences from getting drunk/drugged. Wider selection of drugs Seedy establishments, strip clubs, skooma dens etc... Seedy individuals Jobs forced upon the character (A simple slave setup where maybe a seedy inn keeper controls you and pimps you out, if you dont conform he beats on you or something?) I have been looking at Skooma Whore Addiction which looks really good to get some effects from skooma, is there anything for getting drunk? Also anything that adds in the risk of overdose? I would love to get your thoughts on what mods work well together for this type of playthrough. Any help is greatly appreciated! I would also love to hear your ideas and thoughts on this type of playthrough and what other things you would add. Thank you.
Jayleia Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Realistic Needs and Diseases, Frostfall SexLabUtil1, lets you define rules for things that happen when you have sex, maybe you take a hit before sex or after? Trade & Barter, or similar mods to make being poor easy, and getting rich hard. Mods to limit your maximum skill level/perks Apropos, or something with a "Wear and Tear" function.

Skooma Whore in conjunction with Skooma Whore: Addicted already offer much of what you're looking for. I have them both in every one of my loadorders. Overdosing is included in Skooma Whore, and particularly when running both mods there will also be some potentially nasty consequences for becoming addicted (ranging from being treated like scum to being imprisoned). Skooma Whore also adds some pretty dingy brothels to the four big cities in Skyrim. Also the range of drugs in SW is interesting. They are diverse and offer some cool temp gameplay buffs, of course at the great cost of possibly becoming addicted and ruining your body. Drunkenness and consequences exist in iNeed and Cooking and Alchemy Overhaul, maybe also some other mods. Both also handle skooma abuse, which should probably be switched off in their MCM's when running Skomma Whore. I would recommend adding a mod that makes crime/imprisonment a bit more interesting when playing with Skooma Whore and SW:Addicted (which makes the drugs illegal and thus greatly increases your chances of going to jail). Maybe Prison Overhaul (Patches) if you're looking for something from this site, but lately I've been using Crime Overhaul from the Nexus which is very different but also very cool. Some other, maybe not so well known, mods that go well with a "non-hero" character that has to work their way up from the bottom: More Punishable Crimes Crafting Requires Permission Scarcity the Less Loot Mod Contraband Enjoy!

Great post! I wasnt aware that SW adds brothels, so thats great. I havnt been able to get the latest PO + POP to work as I dont have DDe, waiting for POP 8t then I might have a look.
