Things in the dark quest glitched

So i started the things in the dark quest for the mod and got to the part where it tells me to interrogate the people of whindhelm about someone but it sends me to a farm in markarth and the owner doesn't tell me anything or even have dialogue options.

 

is anyone else having this problem?

 

please help me out here the quest itself has been fun so far.

Why not ask this in the actual things in the dark thread instead of making a thread that the author may or may not ever see?

im new here... also i tried searching it up and got a bunch of results that had nothing to do with the mod.
