Invisible clothing

I am porting some Oblivion mods to Skyrim and having trouble with a boot+stocking nif that continues to be invisible in the game. They show as working in the CK, Nifskope, OS and bodyslide. I converted the clothing with no problems but the boots remain invisible.  HDTHH works as does the sound, my character changes shape as if equiped but no show.

 

The bones and weights are installed and painted correctly, they are set up in the CK correctly with no missing textures or warnings (no red exclamations), the sliders all work and all the necessary lines in place in Nifskope. There is something I am missing. 

 

Any advice on how to fix invisible clothing ( I have several of these) would be appreciated.
