tattooedillusions Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 UPDATE 10-04-12: BNB conversion for the Athletic Body by Skims has now been uploaded to Nexus as a requirement for my upcoming update for Kaw's Body Jewelry Expanded and as a teaser for a larger project that I can't say much more about but if you like this body keep an eye on the page for updates. One other thing, in the description it lists Astymma's Compatability Skeleton as an optional one to use instead of the BNB Skeleton because it's compatible with FAFF, NV FAFF and NVG. What I did NOT list over on Nexus is that it is also a requirement for Sex Out here at the lab. So Astymma's should be the way to go for all around compatibility.  UPDATE 9-9-12: I just finished uploading a new bouncing conversion for static07's "Reflex Armor S-07 for Type 3 a Mantis Retexture" mod from Fallout 3 that was ported to New Vegas by Despernal to the Nexus. This is a sweet all black retexture of Primantis' original Mantis Suit. The link is below as usual. Cheers!  UPDATE 8-22-12: Added the mesh for the Slinky Skirt R to the Jonas66s Kristinas Closet Bouncing page on Nexus that I had forgotten to put in the main file thanks to another person that noticed it in their play through. It's in the Updates section of the Download page and is only the one file. You'll still need the Main file. I figured it would be easier on the people that already have the main file to just download this one instead of redownloading the whole thing.  UPDATE 8-19-12: Just posted a bouncing version of Jonas' "Kristina's Closet for Type 3 and Breeze" mod. This bouncing version is again only a replacer and only for clothes that would/could actually have movement. Heavy ammo belt, vault girl security, the heavy leather, shoes, thongs, etc. haven't been touched and aren't in my file.  UPDATE 8-13-12: I just finished my first body conversion for clothing. Kendo's new Naughty Kitty is now SKINNY-6'ed. It is fully dependent on his original mod for the textures, a few of the meshes that didn't need to be converted and the .esp. My file is only the meshes for the 3 base bodies, 4 different bra types, 2 different panty types and 2 different string suit types. The link to the mod is below with screens.  EDIT 8-11-12: I realized that I had originally converted the wrong meshes for the LNC Stealth Suits. I used my ingame meshes which I tweaked a little bit to reduce Humannature's original shine and forgot all about it. Also a couple people asked about the transparency that used to be in the mod from FO3. When HN brought the suits to NV it turned out the game engine didn't set well with the stealth field from the suit and the transparencies of the suit so he took out the alpha properties of the meshes. Since then he has released an unstealthed version of his mod (you can read the details on his site linked below). So with his permission I re-added the transparencies also. So now with v1.2 you get the original shine AND the transparency all at once. Oh and of course the bounce! This should be my last update (hopefully I fixed everything this time). Cheers!  EDIT 8-4-12: I noticed some rings around the nipple area on the TYPE3 & SKINNY LNC StealthSuits and found out I needed to update the tangent spaces in nifskope so that SHOULD be fixed now with v1.1 @ the Stealth Suit link below. I will be going through all the other uploads to test them more thoroughly and will update accordingly.  EDIT 8-3-12: I have added the COBRA for TYPE3 & SKINNY w/ Jiggle and the TYPE3 & SKINNY LNC SteathSuit w/ Jiggle links to this thread so there isn't a different thread every five minutes if I decide to get creative. All of my future stuff will go here or if it's something I made myself will go to the Downloads section.   INFO:  I've been wanting to learn blender for a while now and my attention span at times is needle thin so I figured I'd try something a little more easy than making my own armor or trying to figure out how to convert to different body shapes. So I figured I would try to add a little jiggle to probably the only body that doesn't have it yet. Humannature66's SKINNY6 body over at the Nexus. Success. No they don't flap all over either. I used the Alice body that came with the great body by race mod as a reference for the bone weights.  Below are links to my youtube channel to see the jiggle along with links to all of the mods/tweaks I've uploaded at Nexus for the SKINNY6 body and clothing/armors to go with it along with other conversions that I have done. I am learning more and more Blender so hopefully soon I will have something that I can actually upload here at the Lab in the Downloads section. I use the Desert Succubus mod which has his skinny body in it so that way none of the other npc's are affected by it. Thanks for the open mindedness and the compliment. Much appreciated.
Guest user29 Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I know I like to get complements on my stuff when I work my ass off  If you're looking for feedback, I would of course make a backup of your work so far, but I'd play around with the shoulders. Unfortunately they're always going to stick pretty far out, but you can kind of play with the mesh a big a bring them in closer to the body. At least somewhat.

My main game folder (of course), the folder that will be compressed and uploaded to Nexus when I get done and my WIP folder but since you mentioned that, gets me thinking maybe I should go get some DVD-RW's or something just in case my computer shits out on me. As far as the shoulders, yeah I agree. Unfortunately right now that's way over my head ha ha. Bone weight copying is the only thing I know right now. I need to do some searching and reading up on it because eventually I would like to make my own crap if I can ever figure it out. Â @Loogie Ha ha. I couldn't agree more man. It's only natural. When I started doing this (other than just being bored off my ass), I thought "even mini mams have some sort of natural movement to them". But yes every mod should have bounce! Thanks for the compliment from you as well.
Guest user29 Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 it's pretty easy. Just go into edit or sculpt mode and bring the shoulders in. Your first few attempt will be awful but eventually you'll get the hang of it.

I'm going to check out blender's wiki a little more today and watch some of their vids a little more closely. I don't know most of the hotkeys or anything of what I can do yet but I appreciate the attempt at helping a complete blender illiterate ha ha.
Guest user29 Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 What I did when I was first messing around with meshes in dragon age origins and I still use it more than edit mode to day is sculpt mode  http://www.blender.org/development/release-logs/blender-243/sculpt-mode/  In that mode you just pick which tool you want to use and the mesh more or less becomes puddy to the whims of your mouse cursor. For instance, "grab" grabs the mesh and moves it. "add" will push out mesh within the radius of your cursor each time you click it. Incredibly simple. But it's also incredibly imprecise. You can't get the exact look you want like edit mode can do. Usually I don't care about that I just want to get close and sculpt mode can do that (For instance Evil only uses edit mode because he's a blender god and as a result he can do some amazing stuff)  Anyways, that's where I would start if I were you. It's incredibly awkward at first but the more you work with it the better and easier it gets.

Not sure what I'll try to morph yet but I'll figure something out. Also maybe you can help with a tip for this too, how does one cut away portions of a mesh to, say, show a little more skin rather than adding an alpha property to the nif and using photoshop to make it invisible? Â Yeah I've seen the pics from the pregnancy mod you guys are working on. Looks pretty sweet. When I put Sexout back in my game I'll grab that too. I stopped using it for now because I got tired of having to watch over Willow, Veronica and Cass. Every time I look over there at least one of them is getting themselves off and if I didn't catch it and went to a different place they'd be stuck there and I couldn't do anything about it. I think it might've been the Lust plugin that was affecting them but I'm not sure. But I do plan on putting SO back in FO pretty soon.

In a way it makes my jiggle conversions a little easier and faster through blender too. I may get them done by Christmas instead of New Years ha ha.

[/quote'] Â Thanks TMG! Much appreciated! Ha ha I wouldn't call myself a modder just yet. I have a long way to go to even think about being as good as all the real modders here. But I thank you nonetheless. Yeah I agree about people working on either lesser worked or lesser known things and I figured I'd give it a shot because I was tired of all my npc's having some sort of movement and my girl not. Like I said even the mini mams must move at least a little. Thanks again for the words.

I have also changed the title to this thread to something that reflects that change. Thanks to everyone here that's supported this modding and forum posting rookie.

Totally reconverted the TYPE3 & SKINNY Stealth Suits with the original meshes this time (dumb ass me forgot that I messed with the nifs for a little less shine and converted those at first instead). I also added the alpha properties to the parts that were transparent in the original FO3 version.
