NamelessFreak Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 Hey there, guys. I'm currently trying to make weight slider support for some of my custom armors, some of which include armor scraps I took from the Witcher resources available on the Nexus. I made actual armors with them (weighting, rigging, etc.) and they work fine in-game, but the minute I put them into Outfit Studio so I can make weight support, they fall to the floor or one version falls to the floor or they fly off into the sunset, never to be seen again. It's incredibly frustrating since Skyrim's default way of doing weights doesn't work either. This has also happened with things that were formerly static meshes (i.e. gems). I didn't even change it but when I exported the gem part, it was two moons lengths up and above the rest of the mesh. I mean, I know I'm doing something right, since all the scraps I've used from vanilla armors work just fine with the same process. What the hell am I doing wrong? D:
myuhinny Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 Could be a mesh problem or there is something in the mesh that it doesn't like. I just recently did a outfit and everything looks like but the bottom tip of the dress has no weight painting everything else is weight painted but when the dress has weight painting added to the bad spot it gets removed from a spot right between the breast and any move to fix it doesn't work and if I try to mask that spot the whole piece disappears into oblivion but comes back if I try to export the outfit and when I check the weight painting for the piece nothing has changed it still has all of it's weight painting. You would probably have to either redo it again to see if you might of caused it somehow or throw it into a 3d tool and see if it can be fixed there.
