I need help quick help.

I found a site where I can download some  skyrim followers but the followers came in 4 separate files that were called .001

I used winrar as an archive but I ended making all .001 files open with winrar. How do I revert the change back to 001? Now when I downloaded an 001 file it just comes out as winrar

 

and I have another question, followers using the 001 format can't be downloaded through mod manager, how can I get them to work?

You can drag all the four sperate folders into an empty folder, and then right click on .001 and select extract here.

You need to repackage the files that got extracted into one package. Use that new full package foe installing.

If you have trouble doing all that, you can post the link and I'll do it and upload it to mega or so.

In your screenshot I see 7z files

xxx 7z.001 , xxx7z.002 ,.....xxx 7z.005

Yes all files in one folder or you can not unpack the files. Then use 7z to unpack. Click on the 001 files and all 5 files will be unpacked.

 

Then you can delete the 5 7z files . Name your unpack folder "Edda the Witch" and use 7z to create one 7z file.

 

Modmanger: you can use files you have on your hard disk. You can use Mods in loose folders (unpacked or self created), packed Mods,...

I do not understand your question.

WinRAR can open 7z/001 etc files with no problem.

I know this response is really late but thanks I just got my computer back from repair, its been a month since I last went online but this still helped thanks again
