Starting a New Modded Setup. Should I use Original or Special Edition Skyrim?

Hi,

 

Question is pretty much in the title. I'm looking to set up a bunch of mods, both regular and kinky, and I'm wondering about compatibility. Which edition will make the maximum amount of current stuff available? I'm fully prepared to rely on mods for all the graphical improvements if the original edition is better.

 

Is it worth using the SE because all the modders are porting over to it?

 

Thanks for any clarification on this. I'd hate to get everything set up only to find out I'm behind the times.

Been answered to death already, but yes, original. SE has no SKSE hence no Sexlab, no HDT bounce/jiggle. Short answer if you want kinky stuff then original is the way to go. There's Flowergirls for SE which is pretty good but limited.
