Modder appreciation thread

I'm sure it's not as helpful as a Patreon donation, but unfortunately, I'm guessing some of us pervs just can't afford to donate to every one of you like we'd like to!

I tried making a mod myself (a simple "submissive" trait mod and a "dominant" traint mod) and after four hours, a lot of swearing, a few glasses of scotch and my dog giving me many a concerned looks, I gave up because I wasn't even scratching the surface. I simply don't have the capacity to be able to do what you all do.

And for that, I just wanted to say thank you for what you do!

If you really want to show appreciation for the modders... I'd suggest that you drop a nice "thank you" post on your favorite mod(s) that you feel the author really did something special in your opinion. Many of us can't donate or contribute but you'd be supprise how far a simple "Thank You" post would go to help encourage the author to do more and help them feel appreciated for the work that they have done. As you know it is a shit ton of work and can be quite frustrating at times even for the most experienced mod authors and that will go quite a long way to show appreciation. Posting on a single thread a thank you is nice but will likely get buried shortly with new post on the forum. Posting on the mods thread would more directly thank the author. Just a suggestion.

Give the thanks is enough to us as moders, but is really nice to see someone who has the time for say more then that.

If someone can not suport by donations is ok. Live from this kind of work is only a dream job for many of us because is really hard make it true. We make mods for fun as creative persons, the money is the last motivation.

The only real reason for want I started a Patreon page is because I want save for have a formal study on 3D modeling.  I'm from a little town, and that kind of schools are out of my league at this moment.

Probably you give up this time, but go and try again. Is the proces to learn. Maybe you fail the first time, but many of us too, you can done anything with time and hard work.

Thanks to all the modders.  It's you guys and gals making the custom content and mods that really adds so much to the Sims games.  So, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!!!
