CTD on Load and New Game

My game crashes on a new game and load, I have the stutter remover, OBSE, and I do have a high end machine.

I am hoping to get some feedback on any mods that dont play well with others people know of perhaps. Just telling me its to many mods doesn't actually help any.

Way too heavy of a load order. Oblivion's engine is ancient and putting that much stress on it is almost guaranteed to make it melt down.

I appreciate the help, I have seen a heavier load order on my own oblivion run just fine though. Do you have any particulars that might actually help though?

Maybe a missing master?

Have you checked it with TES4Edit. Start TES4Edit and see if it load all Mods. If you get a error message it will tell you what is wrong.

 

Do you have Pluggy and MenuQue?

Game started with OBSE? 

Game not in C:program files?

Lovers Mods not installed with NexusModmanager ( never use NexusModmanager for Oblivion)

I have not yet checked with TES4Edit but I shall do so immediately.
I have both Menuque and Pluggy, OBSE and My games install in a seperate location from the OS. I use TESMM and Wrye Bash for installs on Oblivion.

 

I have noticed such files as BreakUndies(J).ini located in the data folder with the .esp files should any ini files go into OBSE plugins? (Every so often I can get the game to load a saved game but it eventually crashes if i leave or try to.)

 

EDIT: I have run it through TES4 and it loads up just fine..

delete the BreakUndies(J).ini . it is the japanese ini. Your BreakUndies.ini is in Data\ini folder. But that does not crash your game.

 

Have you tried it with a new Oblivion ini?

Backup or delete your Oblivion ini  ( in My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\  !!  Not the default ini in the game folder)

Then start the game and it will create a new ini. Quit the game and make your ini changes ( disable in game borders, ....etc.)

I removed the Oblivion.ini and let it generate a new one and it ran up and let me make a new character. I shall edit my settings back and see if that has done the trick. I appreciate the help Fejeena o-o!

 

 

EDIT: Indeed letting it generate a new ini was the key =o such an odd... fix lol
