When did you discover Loverslab?

I've been lurking around for awhile and only became active now. Skyrim was actually my first dip into serious single player gaming in 2012.  Before that I mostly played MMORPG's. I got into modding by browsing around the Steam Workshop, wanting more in terms of overall aesthetics (I think it was Nuska's mods that made me curious), finding Nexus mods, and eventually landing here (I think it was looking for zzjay's non-nexus mods), though I've never been super active.

Back in around summer 2015 or so, it's pretty recent for me yeah. I 'discovered' it after seeing some GIFs and occasional short clips on porn sites that looked like it was in a "video game" but I had absolutely never seen or ever heard of anything like that before. I desperately tried to find out more about it, it took a few weeks until I finally found out thanks to deeper Google searches with clever keywords and it lead me here. Then my mind got blown to pieces in amazement and shock realizing that it was all from Skyrim all along (which I had been playing for like two years prior to that).

I haven't been able to play the game without at least some mods from LoversLab ever since. I kid not, even when I absolutely and genuinely try to "stay vanilla" (or as close as possible) I just can't. I just can't look back at vanilla Skyrim; both Nexus and LoversLab make this game shine off its original intended charts and brings it to stellar levels of gaming and simulation.

Haha! Yeah, that was pretty much my reaction when I discovered it was from Skyrim.

To be honest at first when I saw those clips I thought it was some renderer program, like Blender or something, and that one guy or a small team worked on it. But never in my life at that time I would have thought that Mods, of all things, for Skyrim, could turn the game (or parts of it) into THAT stuff, no way.

And since I love to actually role-play my RPGs, and love to immerse myself then yeah, Mods that allow me to better role-play my character as an adult, with adult content all the while still playing the actual game itself now only feels more natural and normal than anything else. At this point it feels essential to enjoy the game in general. I did try vanilla Skyrim again a few months ago. I could barely keep playing enough to finish the first Dragon quest outside of Whiterun and was already bored.

I don't remember how I found LL, but apparently I'm about a month shy of 5 years.  I know that I found Nexus and a nudity mod, which I started playing with for a while.  I've always had a love for the naked body (preferably woman, don't really like to see dicks), and not just for sexual urges.  I've always had hentai pictures on my computer, most of which I've saved not because they were graphic and full of sex, but because they're just the character(s) naked.  The combination of the enjoyment of the naked body and the nude mods on Nexus (this is where I start assuming how I found my way here) probably caused me to go digging more for more adult-themed mods.  I had some sex mods that I used from here (the one that comes to mind most was SlaveRun or something like that, that turned Whiterun into a sex slave market), but I found myself more just enjoying being on a website where adult themes weren't just okay, but encouraged.  I've changed a lot over the years, and my tastes have as well, and as such I've found myself on here less and less over the years, taking month(s) away at a time, but yea.

TL:DR version: found LL almost 5 years ago.

Glad you had the same reaction I did. This community is very welcome to it. Breaks social norms. Love it.

Have a good one!

Well, if you look at my join date, it was about 5 1/2 years ago that I took the plunge and started sexing up my gaming experience.

At first I felt a bit ashamed, but then I realized that, should I drop dead, my jiggly video game avatars are the LEAST of the things my survivors are going to find that indicate a sexually "deviant" life.

-My collection of massive dildos (that I started training on 30 years ago)

-My collection of urethral toys

-Etc.

I'm gonna die as a Dirty Old Man anyway, so Fuck it.

Joined in 2017, I didn't know this site existed.  I was on Nexus since I started gaming.

One day I received an email from one of the modders I knew who said that they had been banned and that they were going over to LL.

Since I had no idea what that was, I "googled" it....and well the rest is history.

Everyone here is so nice and so intelligent.  I was hooked.

I almost never go to nexus unless I have to now.

(sorry for my English, my translator is busy)

I became (to put it mildly) disenchanted with mmo rpgs last year for various reasons and decided to give FO4 and skyrim a go after a pal nagging me to try them. I then discovered modding, discovered LL, found a great community and incredible resource.

I've learned so much since I joined LL and still have a long way to go but I'd like to think that I've become an "intermediate modder" and mostly thanks to the folk on this site.

I discovered LoversLab thanks to Chic Geek's YouTube channel. I was playing Fallout 4 on Xbox One and looking for slooty mods when I found her channel. I soon realized that PC had waaayyy better mods but it wasn't until she mentioned LL that came here and decided to take the modding plunge. So I bought a GTX 1060 in May 2018 and started modding Fallout 4 and Oldrim.

Thanks Chic Geek. Miss your YouTube channel but glad to see you're still around and modding.

I almost didn’t. I was playing my vanilla badass mage dude and had a sudden urge for the Valtheim bandit woman’s threat to me to be grounded in actual dominance.

An “ah what the hell, let’s see” kind of google search brought up SD+, and this ‘eccentric’ journey started at full speed.

And as others have mentioned the community is quite decent as well, and probably constitutes a good amount of why I’m still on here.

Well, I got Skyrim Legendary back in 2013. After one unmodded playthrough I've discovered the Nexus, broke my whole playthrough with an 80+ lvl character as I didn't know what I was doing (never reached those numbers ever again ...) and when I learned more about integrating mods and what's possible, I just was curious. May 19, 2014 my profile tells me, was the date I reached the event horizon ...
