Can't get my follower pregnant

So, having issues getting Veronica pregnant -  I'm not getting any sperm or swimmers.  Not sure what to do.

Have you checked the MCM menu for Sexout Pregnancy (in game)? One of the values allows for follower-pregnancy. Another for pregnancy by robots and/or animals.

im not having that problem but I can seem to get the canners to work on my flollowers any help
