Haviengar Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 As the title states. There are outfits that I'd like to install that use HDT and others that use the NIoHH system. Can I use both or will I have to choose? Any input would be appreciated.
Lodakai Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 NIOHH is better. Less problematical. You should convert all the things for HDT HH over to that. Instructions on NIOHH front page.
davisev5225 Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 I'm curious - is there an easy way to figure out (measure) the NIOHH height for a heel using NifSkope or any similar tools? I'd like to convert some heels for personal use, but there's a lot of meshes to go through, and I'm not terribly interested in hours of trial-and-error.

If you are converting from HDT.. it's the spell magnitude usually. Otherwise what i do is just put 3.0 and work from there.. i can overlook some minor clipping or hovering, but if it's too much.. i just go change it next time i load.

I've already done several conversions from various mod authors that didn't match the HDTHH spell magnitude, so I doubt it is a 1:1 conversion. Since I have 40+ NIFs to go through this time, it's hardly efficient to keep reloading the game repeatedly to find the correct offset.
Haviengar Posted June 19, 2017 Author Posted June 19, 2017 Thank you all for the replies. Appreciate the help.
Sladen2019 Posted June 19, 2017 Posted June 19, 2017 I got rid of HDT HH mod. NIO is overall better in every way. I wish the people that convert outfits would make the ones that need HDT HH, use NIO. I keep the HDT HH esm stored, in case I want to remove it as a master for outfits. I havnt had much good luck in converting them to NIO, so I just remove it as master and don't give them high heels.
smokeybear187 Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 I've had issues converting the nifs for NIOH myself and I feel your pain. If you don't want to modify it yourself there it's a mod called something like nioh rings that gives you rings that you can equip that gives you the height offset depending on which ring you use. I'm pretty sure it works with followers as well. I'm on mobile atm so can't provide Link but just Google nioverride rings. It's on nexus and ll as well. EDIT: LINK: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/78278-ch-nioverride-high-heel-rings/ You can add the rings through console or ADDITEMMENU if you have it(You should). Theres a ring for pretty much every offset you might need. Just takes a little trial and error to equip the right one.
