Cannot edit Lovers Satisfaction scripts in CS

So a few months ago, I came across this topic (http://www.loverslab.com/topic/63989-help-with-a-script-add-on-for-lovers-satisfaction/) where someone was trying to figure out how to properly differentiate between a preference for blowjobs vs. cunnilingus without going outside Lovers PK's built-in Oral Sex category, which just lumps it all together. According to the mod author  Schmendrick in the very last post, it seems like a relatively simple fix, so I decided to try and tackle it myself (and yeah, I'm the same person who posted pseudocode back then too). Problem is, I can't save scripts in the Construction Set.

I've installed both the Construction Set Extender (which I assume is working because I don't get error messages or log prompts anymore) and I edited the "Target" property of my CS Shortcut to be "Install path for obse loader.exe" -editor. I still get error messages about things like "let" and "SetFunctionValue" not being proper function calls. I have absolutely no clue how to go about fixing this. :/

If it helps, I run my CS via MO; both my obse_loader.exe and my updated CS (1.2.404) and the old CS file from the CSE are run as admin, and my game is NOT installed on the C: Drive. I use Windows 10, OBSE 21, and CSE 8.0.

Do you use Wrye Bash? I run my CS with CSE through WB. Don't even need to make the obse shortcut/edit path thing. With WB, when you mouse over the CS icon, it will pop up an info box saying "Launch TESCS + OBSE version + CSE version"  Just make sure you Oblivion folder doesn't have a d3d9.dll. If it does, just cut and paste to your desktop until you're done with CSE.

Thanks, I'll give that a try if I run into my issue again; I can't explain it, but re-installing everything a third time seems to have cleared everything up.
