Hello there, I like making a bit rougher raider themed settlements, but I'm lacking proper tools for it. I have downloaded mods like Butcher Meat Rack, Settlement Objects Expansion Pack, Just Debris, Raider Themed Workshop and such. One of them even had FX tab where there were things such as smoke, sparks and fire, etc. But it is still not quite enough.

There is a mod here that replaces hung and impaled dead bodies to naked one and that's nice, but could there perhaps be something like standalone, non-replacement version that would also have unmutilated corpses ( both dressed and nude, even skeletons ), because I don't want all my dead bodies to be headless so I can achieve something like this:

or

Actually some mutilated bodies would serve a proper horror effect as well and some could be in different positions like the hung bodies in Predator films or Wrong turn series ( for cannibal themed settlements )

And also so much needed placeable blood stains, splatters and puddles. It is quite disrupting to have torture chamber and butcher's kitchen "squeaky" clean. Some further decorations inspiration can be found in this short video from Event Horizon. Some of the bodies could perhaps have their ragdoll mechanism kept ( if you wanted to put them in cages, trolleys or elsewhere ) and they wouldn't despawn then, but you could still scrap them.

Something less gory could be of use too. Some places have clouds of dust that nicely capture and reflect the light, litting the space up a bit in a dim way ( like above the campfire in County Crossing ).

The list could go on and contain other things like various medieval torture devices made in Wasteland style like working assignable guillotine ( public executions could even raise happiness in the settlements, because people have been wicked beings since the past and still likely are in this harsh future ). But it's up to fantasy and capabilities of the modder to make this actually real.

I apologise for the pictures being in links, but I had more then I was allowed to contain in this post.

Have a nice day everyone.

Or if some modder could perhaps redirect me to some link or guide how to make this myself. However, I completely unskilled when it comes to this kind of thing, so that is why I came asking for it in the first place.

See if this helps - but you will have to "decorate" your own (ie execute NPCs). These are not constructible statics, they are execution devices (furniture) for NPCs.

As for blood decals on bodies and walls/floors, they get reset by the game upon load, nothing you can do about it. What you can do (if anyone is any good at texturing) is create static blood puddles.

You cannot construct (build from workshop) a ragdolled body, that is simply not possible (unfortunately). You can spawn NPCs and kill them in order to get ragdolls.

Thank you for your tips. I have already downloaded both of the mods you linked here some time ago, although I yet have to look into the working noose a bit more as I have troublemaking it work. But I!ll just go through its thread and go through the instructions again.

Yeah and that is one of the things I would very much like to be able to do = ) If you go for example to Fizztop mountain where the Disciples are, it is bloody there and pretty gory too. But mainly, the blood is there ( smidges, stains even puddles of it ) so one would say they are already in the game somehow. If smoke and sparks and other fx stuff is placeable, this might be too. I will maybe try contact the person who made the mod containing those.

Another way for bodies to stay is mod Piles of corpses from Nexusmods, which makes the dead bodies stay longer by increasing the despawntimer, but allegedly that decreases performance badly if there are too many bodies. I did not download it, but in theory one could cannibalise dead bodies and the gore and perhaps even the blood could stay there longer. But that way one would have to "re-decorate" at some point.

We will see where this gets over time.

Bumping because I'm looking for something similar to decorate my characters' homes for my cannibal playthroughs from go, but not the console command only nooses (requiring console commands is a straight no thanks for me period) or CRX. I already have the Bad End furniture for my characters' entertainment via AAF, though something craftable in the workshop along those lines but already occupied by a body would be nice. As would having a craftable version of the raider corpse decorations that are dotted around the various raider camps and the hanging tree east of Fallon's.

Don't get thrown by the name of the mod. It has more than just fences etc

Thanks! Ash is loving it. ? The positioning is a bit iffy on some of the items but the aesthetic is exactly what I was going for. I'll probably to look into Place Anywhere per their recommendation in the mod des.
