virgar68 Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 So I recently downloaded the Special Edition, and come to discover that Mod choices are extremely limited. Was wondering if Mods like Sexlab were looking at migrating to SE. There is so much room for a mod developer to establish themselves. CBBE has not even establish themselves with SE yet. It is like having a blamk canvas.
nightshad Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 untill SKSE is updated for SE nothing anyone can really do for mod wise got to wait till its finished
Nazzzgul666 Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 So I recently downloaded the Special Edition, and come to discover that Mod choices are extremely limited. Was wondering if Mods like Sexlab were looking at migrating to SE. There is so much room for a mod developer to establish themselves. CBBE has not even establish themselves with SE yet. It is like having a blamk canvas. You should be aware that... for a mod developer, there isn't any real advantage for developing for SE version. And with FO4 out and several modders already leaving Skyrim, it's unlikely there will ever be the same amount of mods for SE like there is for Oldrim. You already can have better graphics with OLdrim than with the SE version, so there is not exactly a reason to upgrade except the hope for some better performance... which is only a hope, no guarantee. I hope that SE will allow me as a user to add more scripted mods without problems, but for modders... actually there is no reason at all. So if you want the maximum number of mods avaivable, you maybe better keep using Oldrim.
virgar68 Posted May 25, 2017 Author Posted May 25, 2017 was just hoping. I am amazed by how the mods completely change the whole feel of the game. I wish I could try all the different mods, but as it is, I am happy if the game doesn't crash on me more than once an hour.
